In a normal situation, our D line would tear em up. The issue is that teams play the fast short pass against us to negate the d line. Our corners play off by a lot to try and make sure big plays dont happen. So our defense has been on the field a lot because we constantly give up short plays all day long.

Dallas/McCarthy has been shifting to a short passing game so far this season. They're calling it the Texas Coast offense.

Yeah, I've read up on it. What a horrible name for an offense. No wonder it sucks. Hahaha dak has been throwing super short all season and their YAC sucks. I think we will be able to do well against them.

Ideally, we will stop them from scoring on their first three drives - or they only score 3 or so. Then we score a few touchdowns on our first couple drives. Taking them out of their comfort zone and putting the pressure on dak - that's when he is at is worst.

No. He played well I thought in the POs last two seasons against Dallas.
And he's a really good running back.

I'm willing to bet he won't play, he already missed 2 practices, I'm just getting so sick of him. You can't depend on him and it's upsetting because he's a good player and clearly better than Mason and TDP

Redzone efficiency

DAL defense vs SF offense RZ efficiency.

DAL- 33.33 TD% averaging 0.5 TD's allowed per game.
SF- 66.67 TD% averaging 3 TD's per game.

DAL offense vs SF defense RZ efficiency.

DAL- 36.84 TD% or 1.8 TD's per game.
SF- 66.67% or 1.5 TD's per game.

Our offense has been highly efficient in the redzone but DAL defense has been stellar there.

Our rezone defense has been as suspect as DAL offense. However, both defenses allow only around 2 redzone trips per game. While both offenses get into the redzone almost 5 times per game.

If you ask me what's scarier. Our red one offense (good) vs their RZ defense (good) OR their red zone offense (bad) vs our RZ defense (bad), the advantage goes to Dallas.

they are more likely to score on us in the RZ than we are against their D.

It does look that way. Its going to be a close defensive game. Our best chance is to keep DAL out of the redzone altogether and make them kick FG's.

I see a 21-17 type of game.

I think it'll be a lot higher, unless Wilks can tighten this D up. I really think Dak will have a good game, Purdy may wind up in a shootout. Until our D has that dominant performance, I have to assume they're still closer to bend not break. 34-27 Niners.

I really think you are underestimating our defense and their's.

I hope I'm underestimating our defense, but not underestimating theirs. If anything I may be overestimating our offense, I'm just so excited to see how Brock has unlocked it.

I think the cowboys D is overrated. They're good, probably top 10 but they've dominated 3 of the worst offendes (Pats, jets, giants) and the one top 10 they've played slapped the s**t out of them.

the key is not falling behind, they're built to dominate with their ears pinned back. They have a reallly deeo D line but the rest of their team isn't built for a dog fight. They only have one RB this year and a QB they clearly aren't trusting to cut it loose. Dak has a history of s**ttin the bed in crunch time.

they're a good team but I think we out class them. Brocks worst performance was against them in the playoffs and he's just better than before. Brock didn't even play bad either.

i think it'll be 34-17 or so. The team will be amped to make a statement to the entire league while everyone will be watching. Plus our guys know how critical this game is for future seeding.

dak is gonna be battle tested by playing us, miami, bills, lions, rams, and of course eagles twice. way tougher schedule.

I high fived someone wearing a Kittle jersey at the Knights game tonight, I was going to wear my Kittle shirt, we would have been twins lol but decided to Knight out lol. Before the game, chatted with a Cowboys fan. He was like, "Seriously, Brock Purdy, I am rooting for him..if Cowboys don't make it, I am totally rooting for SF" BP brings Cowboys and Niners fans together lol. He was even saying, he very well could be the next Brady lol. 👀

Dallas needs this game bad. A little concerned that we won't match their intensity. Dallas's schedule is brutal. They're going to loose at least 2-3 more games. Prob 3.They loose this and we go to 5-0, they will be battling for a wildcard. They will not beat us in the playoffs, at Levi's…….If we're healthy
