Preseason 2023: 49ers vs Chargers - Game 3

Quick turnaround, we're only 2 days away. Here's a few things I'd like to see in this game.

1. OL Ilm Manning against the starters at LT and/or LG.

2. QB Allen get at least a full half of playing time.

3. DT Kalia Davis show us good ability to stop the run -- the majority of DL has stunk at this.

4. K Moody to kick better.

5. OL Alfredo Gutierrez - I want to get a better look at this guy, been in the system a long time and started with a long way to go, development wise, but Tim and Greg Papa have said he's really becoming a good player. He has no accrued NFL seasons so we can continue to keep him on the PS, and if he is really getting there, I'd like to see where he's at now. Dude is 6-9 332 and he got snaps at LT last year. His still years away, but it would be a fun story to see this long-term swing T project pan out.

Also a little interested in what WR Anthony Miller does. Wouldn't be surprised if he feasts on backups lol..

This is going to be the dress rehearsal game for the starters. Should be fun.

I want to see K Davis get some reps. Outside of that no injuries

I believe after the last game, Kyle said the starters would play in this game.

i anticipate no Williams, CMC, or kittle (maybe kittle since he's back but I doubt it).

I'm anticipating two drives by the starters, then Lance goes in next, finishes the half (if he gets enough snaps - maybe a drive or two to start the third), then Darnold finishes it out.

Sounds good. Want to see more special teams, kicking/return game.
