Another day in the life of being a 49IRs fan
Watching the 2024 season it was clear we needed to renovate this roster and that it would likely take a couple years to do so fully.

I'm sticking to that schedule while hoping for the best in 2025, given the thin state of the roster my expectations are not outlandish for the 2025 season.

I think the 49ers are moving in the right direction, so I won't lose my s**t if this is not a magical season for the 49ers.

Are you already coping with yourself before the season starts 😂

Eh, every team is dealing with injuries, we're just more focused on the ones this team is experiencing. We've been lucky in a way so far that none of them have been season-ending yet.

For an example of what other teams are dealing with, Jared Verse and Rashawn Slater both went down with potentially serious knee injuries today.

Yeah, aside from couple of really disproportionate years I think its the result of people focusing on just one team they're fans of and not paying attention to other teams TC news.

Kinda reminds me of when fans of teams argue whose oline is the worse one because they all think their oline is the worst, but in reality usually none of them are the worst, its just the perception and bias towards their QB. It used to be even worse back in the day when it wasnt trivial to cut up film of other teams and when there werent advanced and contextual stats available.

Huh? Taking the long view is now coping?

Nothing to cope with, really, so much as objectively speaking I accept the reality of the thin state of our roster.

It may or may not play a role in how the season turns out.

No I'm with you, just seamed funny posting that after Mykels injury. 😂 I think most 9er fans might have a little to high expectations. There's a lot to be excited about with a new defense and the return of Saleh but our depth is pretty bad. With this teams injury history it could easily be a repeat of last year.

Way I read it was basically we started poorly on offense but picked it up in move the ball periods later(probably better representation of a game than the earlier stuff)

Either way good or bad people shouldn't overreact. Denver is a good team with a great defense. We're missing several key players on offense including Trent Williams, Aiyuk, Jennings.

Some encouraging things I've seen - Stout once again and CJ West beating an All Pro guard. Jordan Watkins making plays.

But once again...my biggest concern is the health of our guys especially Mykel.

Is Cowing back?

Hyper extension is the best case scenario for knee if there is such a thing

Hope? That still can be 4-6 weeks at best

"can be" and "at best" ... it can be 30 minutes at best, but it's not "best" it seems.

They don't have to give details so we won't know, but a grade 1 sprain can be as little as 1 week.

I'd say yes at the moment. There have been a lot of "minor" injuries. That said, the Rams may not have a QB so things could be a lot worse.

If only our injury luck in 2023 continued into the Super Bowl…
These kind of practices help calibrate where we are as a team and lets the young guys know they have a lot to work on.

first of all, have to respect the Broncos defense, IMO. They're one of the best in the nfl and stout - so reps against them, and their scheme, are great reps.

people also need to remember that it's practice. Not to lose your mind over them. There is good and bad but it isn't like game planning went into this. Scheme wasn't accounted for etc. it was just backyard football and testing out vanilla schemes and letting guys just try to execute.

I just hope Williams isn't seriously injured. That sucks
