That's because we don't actually have any talented players, our coaches are just good at game planning.

They've been asking for interior pressure every game by having Brendel still at center.

Winters was also slow to process. On the good side for him Saleh reduces processing needed by simplifying the scheme.

Saleh did? Where did you read that?

It's not quite what he said but fair enough. It was in one of his pressers the past week. He said that in one of our losses (I can't recall the game-sorry) that he was putting too much on Fred, forcing him to think too much instead of just freely playing. He took the blame for the loss. I think his comment was more on not overloading Fred with commands and options and allow Fred to just relax and play. Some may take that as installing a simpler plan.

Did you click the link I posted from his Jets days? He's known for running a streamlined system. The Jets link was critical because they are saying he wants to put athletes in a position to win but relies on the athletes to win rather than the scheme to win with lesser athletes.

Saleh designs his defense to allow players to read and react quickly so it's considered relatively player friendly. It's one reason his defenses can get more sacks. Some defense force players to be so concerned about where they shoukd be on the field that they often forget that the whole purpose is to get to the ball or the runner.

Yep. He realizes that the fewer options a player has the faster they'll get moving. If you watch Dee Winters, Alfred Collins, or Nick Martin college tape you can watch them read, read, read, react because of the systems they were in. The downside of Saleh's system is you need the right players to maximize it, and it's very different than the way a lot of teams run their defense.

I do want to see how the DBs in particular do in this system.
Hope we don't see a lot of that holding onto the ball s**t like last season

According to every other social media post and report, the Niners offense was 100% stonewalled by Broncos D the entire time. I'm waiting for the Grant Cohn, completely over the top hyperbole; the Niners are utter s**t.
