All the excitement from yesterday's practice has left me hearing that Pearsall and Mykel Williams aren't practicing.
It's pretty sad that as a 49ers fan I've learned lately to basically wait for the negative stuff to drop. Hoping it's a nothing situation but never wanna see your key players out of practice cuz it tends to follow with updates of injury.
If so...hopefully nothing major.
It's training camp and both these guys are coming off injuries. Maintenance and recovery has to be a priority just as much as actual football reps in July/August.
There's a reason we got a 90 man roster right now.
I hope it's all it is man. I'm usually a pretty positive person but the 49ers got me feeling a certain way lol.
I know fans are always concerned abvout injuries in training camp but injuries can happen every tme a player steps on the field. Practice or games. Even when training. The odds are the same that a player will get injured no matter what the situation. Players can't avoid them by being cautious. The only way to eliminate the possibility is to not play and don't work out. Then you might as well quit.
Nah, fatigue is a thing, and strains and sprains often get swelling after they come back and practice, if you keep practicing the swelling can become chronic and it can restrict recovery. So 2 days on and 1 day off of practice makes a lot of sense.
