That's what it's all about. Good entertainment and another means to connect with people. Get it done boys.

That's all she ever wanted! Get it done

So in other news. I know I mentioned her a couple times in here, but a family friend who was a massive 49er fan passed away the other day. She was 89. She LOVED the 49ers! Every time we visited my family in LV we would talk 49ers. She had memorabilia dating back before most were fans…She grew up in the Bay Area. She bought my daughter her first 49er swag 😊

She would point to my parents pool and say if any raiders player was drowning…she wouldn't save them haha. Let's just say she wasn't a fan of the raiders.

There was no hating on "her" 49ers, she was the ultimate fan until the day she passed.

in my own little way, I kinda want to devote this yr to her. Thought I'd share that, she was a special person to my family and the 49ers #1 fan.

Sorry to hear about your friend

Thanks

I'm sorry for the loss, NY. Sounds like you were fortunate to have her in your life and the great memories she gave you, hold onto those tight.

i grew up in the Bay Area and the rivalry between raiders and 49ers fans was real. Lol both my parents grew up in SF and there was no love lost for raiders fans. My mom isn't even really a football fan but still hates on the raiders. Hahah

If we win it all this year, I'll celebrate her with you! She's sending the right vibes and will bring the energy and luck we need to win it all!

I'm so sorry for your loss NY. That must be hard, especially since she was a very smart woman and a winner Whoever is qb, let's just hope it's a SB winning season for her

So, here it is - with Jesse Sapolu. We started out talking about training camp a little bit, Cameron Latu, Dwight Clark day and then dove into a bunch of questions, talked some line technique stuff, great stories. You have GOT to listen to the story at the end. He drops some little heard extras on the infamous Jerry and Deion confrontation the week of Super Bowl 29. One of the coolest moments of what I've done creating content was this interview - he was an absolute pleasure to have on.

That was fantastic! Thanks JD!!!! One of my favorite Niners ever for obvious reasons

A good listen with Sapolu. My first time seeing Jesse in an extensive interview. Didn't realized Jesse got the giggle

That was great. Thank you guys

Was there ever confirmation that this was him?

Agree, and I think if the 49ers lock up a playoff spot, I can see Trey coming in at year end to save Brock for the playoffs. So Trey should have some decent opportunities to show his progress this season.

I think in a game or two Trey can put up some great film to increase his value. If that happens, it will be interesting how the next season is going to be. Having said that - it will take a lot to unseat Brock. Brock would have to be playing like Alex Smith and Trey comes in and Wow's everybody like Kaepernick did back in 2012. I don't think that's going to happen if the Brock I know plays like 2022 all over again. The dude is unbeaten when he's 💯% healthy.

I would like to see Trey taking live bullets for one game with this peaking offense. As stated above there were a lot of drops and it was pre CMC. What does a Trey look like in this vastly refined squad. A lot of the same players but a couple years back not everything clicking like a machine as it was end of season last year.

I'm not convinced Trey got to play with what Brock did while many of the guys were the same. The offense was a machine. Kudos to Brock but I think maybe CMC and Brandon coming up were significant.
The OLine worried me last year, not this year. I have confidence in Foerster and his talent evaluations. I think (from what I saw of McKivits) he's going to be better in pass protection than McGlinchy and adequate to good in the run blocking. We'll see more this upcoming Raider game.

A huge part of Purdy's success was the emergence of CMC. So I can see Trey doing as well, if not better if CMC is in the lineup when Trey gets reps in the upcoming Raider game.

There's no chance CMC has any reps in the Raiders game. It'd honestly be a surprise if has more than maybe 1-2 series all preseason.

Kyle has basically said there won't be any starters in this first game.

thanks man!

She was pretty special to our family. The 49ers is how my parents met her in the first place.

Thanks, Lol she was a very smart women
damn, Jimmy took a big risk to try and be able to play for us. Even though it probably wouldn't of been pretty, I still respect that. Tough guy. Too bad he's about to get whooped on during OTAs

They wouldn't have signed him if he hadn't gotten the surgery. And even though the Raiders refused to find that Garoppolo was fit to pass a physical, Garoppolo told Silver that he fully intended to play in Super Bowl LVII, if the 49ers had found a way to beat the Eagles without Brock Purdy.

"Oh yeah, I was playing," Garoppolo told Silver. "That was kind of the plan of not getting the surgery."
say the article at the top asking if Trey could be traded if he has a strong pre season. I wonder why you would trade him if hel ooks good. He's still a cheap backup option so unless someone was going to offer a 1st or 2nd rounder it wouldn't make sense. Might as well trade Darnold

Agreed. If there's one thing this organization should know by now is having one good QB isn't enough. Kid could still be legit and trading him for peanuts is stupid.

also this Jeff Diamond guy doesn't have his numbers correct. They save like $4.2M trading Sam (which is more than trading Lance this yr).

I'm predicting Juan Jennings to be a combatant in the joint practice's first skirmish.
