There is no amount. Why? Because I live in reality.

1) Trey hasn't proven he is worth very much. He is all potential. You know who else is all potential? Every f**ker in the draft. If I am an NFL GM, I am not trading the potential of two first rounders + a bit more for Trey. In fact, I am not trading anywhere near this amount.

2) The 49ers have Sam Darnold as a backup if they trade Trey. Have you seen Sam Darnold play in the NFL? He will be better on the 49ers, no doubt, but I am not hitching my wagon to Sam for the first three, six, whatever games until Brock is ready. Sam has less potential than Trey. The f**k kind of dumb idea is this?

Since 1 leads to a pitiful haul for Trey, and 2 is a serious threat to home field advantage, the Super Bowl, etc., the 49ers should not be trading Trey.

But we have all seen this before. Dumb f**king threads about Alex Smith, JG, and on and on it will go. Why does this site even have mods? Useless.

If the chiefs give us Mahomes and a first, I'd think about it.

at this point a 3rd rounder is a gift... 5th is more commensurate with his demonstrated skills... would be nice to get a conditional future 3rd rounder... will will never get what we gave for him, you just need to cut your losses and salve what you can and move on the stop the bleeding... just remember that we got BCB with the last pick in the draft so any draft pick we get for TL would be a win for us
