He was worse than Moody. Fans always seem to want players whose name they know as if that means they must be good.

I've said ths before but I doubt Moody will gain the fans confidence unless he makes 90-95% of his FGs. and nearly all the PATs. Even then if he misses one there will be fans that want him gone. There's an old adage in business that it's easy to get customers but hard to win them back once you lose them. I think that applies to athletes as well. Especially kickers.

he is much better than moody career wise. yet he sucked last year and he was kicked out unceremoniously. thats what youre supposed to do with kickers.

If you're talking about Luter he didn't muff the punt. I will always blame McCloud for that fumble. 0 excuse for him not to fall on that ball and ensure we get possession.

I think Moody is doomed, fans were booing and heckling him before he lined up and after he made a feild goal in preseason. Literally a fan right in the middle of the goal post had two thumbs down shaking his head right after he made it.

just me talking, i prefer hopkins to moody

hopkins is career 84% over a long career
moody is career 76%

i agree, kickers are available for a reason, sometimes a new opportunity gives a mental reset which frankly maybe both these guys need.
