Yeah, pre season games don't mean Jack. I haven't even watched one of ours. I just read up on specific performances after the game.

im hoping the new coaching and vets on special teams can really bring him his confidence. I like our new, but old ass, long snapper. Lol

I don't know, it seems like "if I miss this kick, I'll probably lose my job" is real pressure whether that occurs in the preseason or the regular season.

Preseason means a lot for him. After his year last year. He's been working with the sports psychologist. It seems he's blocking things out better. Focus on the process and steps. Which is what you should do. Made 44 yarder to tie. Made 50 yarder. Made 59 yarder to win. 5/6 in the game. That's outstanding no matter what. Really a big reason we won was him. He accounted for a huge number of our points.

They don't mean anything, but all other things being equal I'd prefer the niners win (regardless of preseason or regular).

The guy hit a 53 harder in the superbowl with two minutes left. Hes mentally fine. Its shanahan who threw him out there obviously still injured and killed his confidence.

As much as some fans lament it, Moody will be the kicker this year.

It is what it is.

If this offense is as good as it thinks it is then games shouldn't be coming down to a kick at the end. But some will.

Moody is who he is. Good leg, wildly inconsistent. As long as he is a 49er, get ready to ride the rollercoaster 🎢

Yeah I saw him talking about that too, if he gets his head right he's a homerun, but it's easier said than done
