What about zimmer?? I know he didnt have the best defense in Minnesota the last couple years as head coach but he does know defense and I do think he would be a good fit.. also he runs a 4-3 and I dont think he is gonna get a head coaching offer for a while so we wouldn't loose him

Steve Zimmer or Mike Zimmer?
Those guys are also amazing at picking defensive players in the draft. Minnesota was absolutely stacked defensively, especially in the secondary… all homegrown talent too.

I always loved the way they schemed against Kyle.

I doubt that. Kocurek has stated before he has zero interest in being a DC. If he did, he'd likely stay and take that job here.

I just want someone who will stick with the 4-3 and wide 9 attack, but who can disguise coverages better than Ryan did.

Also someone who is able to make in game adjustments. I don't know how many times we gave up a TD on the first possession and after that our defense shut them down for the rest of the game. Or making adjustments at halftime. Our defense did great in the 2nd half all year Cuz Ryan's wouldn't be scared and was willing to make adjustments at halftime. Ryan's was terrific at that
