We really need to be ready for Hurts to run in this game. The league should know by now that our defense is below average when it comes to mobile QB's. Please win though!!! Lol

My over under on personal fouls on Greenlaw and Jimmie Ward is at 3.5.
cowgirls worried me more than this philly game

They have a fierce pass rush, but are allowing 4.6 ypc against the run, so I'm expecting Kyle to to run the ball down their throats this game.

That's far too low

I wonder how Kyle would counter if the Eagles load up the box to stop the run with numbers?

Kinda like the Cardinals would do in 2019.
a lil early in the week but i'm getting niners @ bears nfc championship back in the 80s vibes

I know he's good but Jury is still out, in my mind, On how good he actually is. I've seen him blow it Everytime in his career, including college.

i want to see how he does against a defense of our caliber. It'll be a really tough game but I'm not "scared".

this will be the real Super Bowl was the vibe when we won our 5th. AFC was weak and an after thought. You got two ELITE teams in AFC right now. So no this won't be the real Super Bowl far from it imo.

The Eagles rating in pass and run defense must be a bit weighted due to their number of victories, many by large amounts. With the opponents' need to play catch up, the Eagles defense would in these games be able to sell out for the sack and disregard the run.
Stats for yardage are misleading, points given up is a better litmus test for how good a defense is. If you're ahead you usually will give yards to eat time. IMHO

It appears that both 49ers RB's are dealing with injuries from the Dallas game. CMC is dealing with a calf injury, which he may have been suffering from before the game. Elijah Mitchell is now nursing a groin injury. Kyle Shanahan describes both injuries, and players, as "day to day."

I wonder if this means we might see Jordan Mason get a few touches? Against the Eagles? I understand he may not be as strong in some areas of the game. But man, that kid can bust a few tackles in tough, tough games. I must admit, I do love watching this young man run over a few linemen and linebackers before he busts out a stiff arm against some poor defensive back. It's good football!

It's a time of year where everyone is dealing with something right now

True. Plus, I agree with you 100-percent. There's just something about Jordan Mason that I like. He reminds me of a young Frank Gore to be honest. He looks like a young "Frank the Tank" when the Tank was running through people instead of around them.

Mason has extreme physicality however you go with the one that got you there and in playoffs no real usage restrictions on Deebo as a runner, CMC or Mitch. Hard to envision all those guys not carrying and watching Mason carry, even if for a play. Game of this magnitude, go with your best.

Then again, this is the Trey Sermon revenge game, anything is possible.

I'm an Eagles fan first but I've just always liked the Niners. Before Jeff Lurie purchased the Eagles, we were a wretched franchise and I had to watch hopelessly as Dallas won division titles and Super Bowls. You guys were the kryptonite that beat down Dallas when nobody else could and I so enjoyed that. I've always respected your franchise and still do. But, I'm all in on the Eagles next weekend!

Old Buddy was a soft spoken, nice & easy going fella!!!! Sweet as honey.

That's an interesting comparison. I didn't think of that.

Probably use some jet sweeps and screen passes to counter their aggression? I'm sure Kyle has something up his sleeve.

Dallas played us with a wide box (looked like a 5-4-2 or 5-3-3 alignments) much the same way Seahawks did. Dallas just had a front 7 that can get off the blocks faster than the Seahawks. I would expect the Eagles to do the same.
