Hate to say is but I predicted 37-17 for this one I believe. Not off by much.

These two teams could be 10 times in a row and the result will be the same. The 49ers defense is good enough but it's the offence that seems off. The team has so many weapons and they all seem to be either smothered or unable to get open. The QB was okay today but okay doesn't cut it against Mahomes.

We lost because they have Mahomes and we don't, it's that simple.

I wish Lance was ready to go but the prospects for him are already starting to decline. His injury history, relatively uninspiring lag, and lack of reps are a concern.

given where this team is, it's a wonder why they swung for the fences on Mcaffery. The 49ers aren't winning a Super Bowl this year.

True, true, and true. The most glaring problem with this offense is QB play. Sure the OL was horrible today, but prior today they had only given up 9 sacks, Tied for 5th best I believe. You just can't watch a 49er drive and not say "is this when he throws the pick?'

We were at a similar crossroads last year too. They found their stride as the season progressed. Hoping for similar results this year too.

As a Mets fans as well, I'm wondering if either will win a another world title again in my lifetime. I've seen 5 49ers wins and 1 Met win, so I ain't a spring chicken. lol

Jimmy has his faults today. But the Chiefs exposed our Oline not being able to hide behind a running game , and playaction passing game. This offense right now can not hang with the caliber of the Chiefs in scoring, especially with the defense giving it up like they did. They forced the Niners to abandon the run game. And let Jimmy and the ill pass protect oline try to beat them.

It was an even game at the half. 30pts in 2nd half is ridiculous. The offense aren't built for that , this early in the season

Yep, but we have a team built on defence and ball control offence. This team was not built to score 40+ points a game like the Chiefs. If you are rooting or expecting that outcome you are following the wrong team.

With as good as our D is supposed to be another score by our offense should of won this game for us. For us to win this game we need to hold the Chiefs to 24-28 points, The D failed that test by a long shot.

Can't win in the NFL with a team build on defense, at least not the SB. Rules favor QBs and WRs more than ever. See RTP penalties last couple weeks. Build a decent defense and get your Josh Allen or Patrick Mahomes.....simple. lol

Then another reason to can Kyle and Lynch. This has been their game plan since they took over.

The plan is not working. Not even close. We need leadership. Discipline. Better conditioning, and a fresh offensive approach. Loading up on d line and playing the ball control game is failing. But we went to the nfc Championship game last year? We got hot and very lucky. This team is Ll with this coach is a 500 team at best. We don't play the rams every weekend so get real. We are average at best. ATL, Denver, Chicago beat us. KC blew us out. Wake up homers. Take a sip of reality, we are a mediocre team with a lot of talent. it will not get better. We will not win a SB. If you're happy with making playoffs or sneaking into a championship game then great. This team is for you. I have higher expectations and fear it will be a long time before I am happy.

NY like it or not, he is the HC. Buck stops somewhere. We praise him when the team wins and he gets the blame when the team loses.

For every McVay there are about five or six Tomsula's so be careful what you wish for.

But we can't be average because on paper we have the best roster in the NFL. Minus QB. And I'm serious. This team can't be this bad and most weeks the D isn't. In fact they are ranked 1. So not sure what happened but the trend seems to be after the first half. We were right there at halftime. We can never adjust and take over. It's always the same.
