98% of everyone else who says he looked great. I never believe Grant and I never believe Lombardi. Both for different reasons. So to get the true assessment just see what the majority think and everyone else other than Grant and Jessie think he looked great. And Jessie wasn't even there. And there is some other Niner creators who have been more on the negative side who also said CMC looked great.

Also keep in mind that when the Niers traded for CMC it was Grant who said it was a bad trade. He was also a huge fan of Jordan Mason who the Niners traded this offseason and so he is also probally butthurt about that and wants to say "See you should have kept Mason". As for Jessie he has also been asking the Niners to not extend CMC. And hewants to be proven right.

saquon didn't he get used a lot, probably more touches than cmc and they won it all. we nearly did. if we can ride heavy CMC usage to another SB appearance why not do it?

NOT only will he be the CBPY, he and B-Rock Steady Purdy will be competing for the MVP and Offensive Player of the Year.

Saquan's last season went like CMC's season 2023, except Eagles took advantage of his exceptional running and won the superbowl, while we squandered it.

2. RB Christian McCaffrey.

He's the Jerry Rice of this team, meaning he never takes practices off. He goes all out in every drill. Today, he was the only older player who participated in 11-on-11s, which means he set the tone today, not George Kittle or Trent Williams or Fred Warner. McCaffrey deserves tremendous credit for going above and beyond. Unfortunately, he still looks a step slower than he did in 2022 and 2023, but that's to be expected at his age after suffering from bilateral Achilles tendonitis. At least he still can run.

He will be 29 in a few days. But some talk like he is 35. And by some I mean Grant mostly. Barkley is 8 months younger. Sorry Eagles fans he's done.

Caff never had great speed to begin with. What he had is Trent Williams, who would blow open massive holes for him to run through. He could also take a hit or five and stay upright.
