Russ v the 49ers what's the all time numbers here?

He's 17-4 against us.

Such bs

it's not like most of those wins were due to him carving the 49ers defense up. Early in his career he just watched on the sideline as the LOB dominated, we couldn't beat a punching bag with Chip & Tomsula. And a lot of the losses with Shanahan came down to the wire, with most of them coming down to some nonsense on special teams, if the team wasn't injured from hell and back.

Yes, Seattle has really had our #, even with Shanahan (prior to this last game).

So because their DEFENSE could shut down our offense (esp. in the 2nd half of games), the games would inevitably be close.

Perfect formula for Wilson to make 1 or 2 plays to put his team over the top.

And when the Niners sucked, yes it was easy for him to win. Coulda won with Tavaris Jackson or whomever they wanted.....

27 points is the most scored by the 49er offense against Carroll since the week 17 finale in 2019.........and before that, the most since Singletary dropped 40+ in 2010.....the 33 points in 2011 was courtesy of two return TDs, so only 17 points.

Under Kyle, we finally cracked 20 points against the Hawks, but only in 2019 I believe, possibly 2018. In general we did what Harbaugh couldn't (score more than 20), but not always enough.

As good as our game was this past weekend, 27 points is pretty good, but if Wilson was playing, maybe they make it nice and tight instead of 27-7. We always start off hot against the f**ker, but then their defense settles down, shuts down the Niner offense , then he makes his comeback.

That's the only formula the Broncos have for beating the 49ers this coming Sunday night. If the Niners O can pour it on, the Broncos are gonna be in a lot of trouble, with or without Wilson.

I think the question should really be, whats the 9ers record when playing in Denver??

Would be awesome to beat Russell Wilson's old team and Russell Wilson's new team back-to-back weeks. Really send Denver into a spiral starting 1-2 with their 245 mil QB

Incredible talent. Just wish we could tie up Al-Shaair as well, and keep this trio going in the long run.
PFF just s#itted on our cornerbacks. The have no clue how good these guys have played so far. https://www.pff.com/news/nfl-secondary-rankings-week-2-2022

the only negative plays so far this season has come on some backyard football plays

Our D has been great except for the penalties in first game and some of the penalties are BS like that Mosely PI (which was a Warner INT) last game

Flying into Denver for this game, first time in the state of Colorado.

i always thought my first trip would involve snowboarding. But I'll take a Niners win instead

I just went for the first time to Denver and I loved it. You can take a train from the airport to your hotel. It was free during the month I was there.

Some good restaurants in the downtown area. Weather is supposed to be around 80 with no chance of rain (thank goodness).
I can't wait for this game. Sunday is going to drag waiting for the night game to start. This game could have a big impact on the trajectory of our season.

i wouldnt agree with that the rams game is way more important than a game against an AFC opponent

Love to have you come visit our Broncos board, in anticipation of Sunday night's game. I apparently haven't been a member here long enough to post links, so you'll have to Google Orange Huddle.

I will warn you that we are all still reeling from the shock of the bone-headed decision making of our new staff, through the first few games. Two weeks ago, I thought I had never seen anything quite like what happened at the end of our game against the Seahawks. Then Sunday happened. That felt like I was in a fever dream. So far, conversation about the 9ers game has been light - there's a bit of a feeling of dread, in light of Jimmy Garoppolo being back in the starting lineup. (How long into his first season did you all feel comfortable with spelling that, by the way?)

Anyway, we'd love to have you join us for the week.

Always "Jimmy G" for me.

I can only remember beating them their once. in the 2006 finale to keep them out the playoffs, Darrent Williams was shot and killed later that night. It will be twice after Sunday night

The point is anything can happen in a monsoon game. Haha, you thought you actually had a point. Poor guy.

Obviously, But heading into that game 2-1 with a win over Russell Wilson and the hyped up Broncos rather than 1-2 can breathe confidence into our younger guys. If you can get guys to buy-in, it can go a long way.
Any updates on Jeudy and patrick surtain?

Still this very Shanahan-esque update from yesterday
"Jerry and Pat — good news for them — they'll be day-to-day," coach Nathaniel Hackett said. "We thought that both of those might be bigger, longer injuries. So, we're excited that their day-to-day.

"Not sure if they're going to be able to [play] in the game, but we're hoping, and we're crossing our fingers for that
