yanno who's been really, really quiet after the preseason opener? danny gray. i'm just sayin....
he's not a vocal guy.. soo it's expected

nah im saying watch out for a big performance

Interested to see the snap counts for JJ / DG / RR

That 3rd WR spot could be matchup dependent. CHI's slot CB is a rookie (2nd rounder, Kyler Gordon).

it could just take one shot play as well

I'd be more than surprised to see us put up that amount of points If it rains.

It'll be more like the game we played against Washington In 2019. Fun, fun, fun
Anyone remember the season opener 2003?

That 2nd quarter was a thing of beauty. I think they scored more points in that one quarter than the rest of Erickson's entire tenure.

Wasn't that Kordell Steward after he left PIT?

I'll be honest, I had to google it to confirm. Yeah.
This is basically a preseason game but counts. Our line hasnt had time to mesh, half our starters havent even played, we will still have a few starters out at game time.
Just block Quinn and have enough misdirection to throw off Smith and this team should cruise. If not, then there are gonna be some red flags.

Or next week, I definitely want him against Denver

You wouldn't think they would need Kittle but it's not just his receiving. He's one of the best blocking linemen they have so the run game can be affected on a rainy day as well. The Niners are in the top 5 as far as talented rosters goes. The Bears may be in the bottom 5. However, the difference between top and bottom isn't like college ball. The worst team is capable of beating the best. A couple of crucial turnovers and a penalty here of there that changes the game is sometimes all it takes.
