Is this a serious question? lol

Yea, is there something I'm missing?

The bolded made it a foolish statement. The rest is a easy question, Much of the Oline is out you dont put your hopefully FQB behind that line for a practice game.

Agre 💯%, I'd like to see Poe start since Banks and Burford look like the starters. My understanding is that none of the starters are going to be playing today.

You agree 100% that Poe should start ahead of Banks since Banks and Burford look like the starters?

I agree.

Few, if any, starters are playing on either side of the ball. And it's going to be about as vanilla as a gameplan as possible.
He needs reps, definitely, but the reps he'd get in the game wouldn't be "quality" reps.

The reward of getting "mediocre" reps isn't worth the risk of injury in a meaningless game.

Next week, when all the starters are playing and there's a focus on "sharpening up" before Week 1 of the regular season... Trey will get reps.
Jordan Mason earning a spot tonight.

Most of the starting oline isnt playing. That would be my guess.

Especially once you've spent 3 firsts on a guy and you've announced him as your starter. Most will tell you that they get more from the training camp reps than the exhibition games

Once Trey "earned" the starting job over Sudfeld and the rookie coach decided not to play his starter this game understandably so

Agree 💯%. This game is more about who makes the 53 than who is starting in the regular season games.

I'm looking forward to it. Very disappointed in Sermons production so far.

Not to mention the guys playing are bubble players who are playing what might be their last game. They would just love to pop the starting QB.
Does anyone have a good link to the game? Thanks in advance
Kyle said players aren't playing due to 3 games in 2 weeks. I think he wants guys like Trey to play but doesn't want to take unnecessary risks.

Well this might be concerning. Looks like Colton McKivitz, Dontae Johnson and Curtis Robinson are making this team.

Then make them quality. The kid is playing great but he needs to play. That simple.

And if you are right might actually lead to QB depth being very important.....

Ohhh the fun of seeing the comments if Jimmy and/or Mr irrelavent gets reps
