Yep, and as I said with injuries always happening, we need 4 RBs, but not just 4, but 4 GOOD ones, so I'm beginning to like the Davis-Price pick more & more every day.
I'm starting to lean towards O'Neal on the 53, & West as well.
Yeah, absolutely no doubt. I've already made a couple changes myself.

I like AB's initial installment of his 53, but TOO many DE's on the 53. I would shop Ebukam+Omenihu+Willis, try to trade 1 or 2 of them so we can add to different position groups on the 53. Trading Ebukam frees up the most money, but if no one will trade even a late prospect for him, perhaps cutting both Omenihu+Willis is fine, because no dead money. Our OL will get some questions answered, once we know if Mack is coming back or not. I also like the idea of Verrett on PUP or IR to start the year, and D. Johnson on the PS, this gives us veterans that can come up if injuries happen to the young guns.

Yeah, when you start putting these 53's together you learn really quickly that there just isn't enough spots to keep everyone. But that practice squad will be nice as always.
Yeah it's going to be hard for a rookie, either drafted(low rounds) or UDFAs to beat out the guys we have here, I like West, O'Neal, Poe, & Gemmel as the best of the 14 to have a shot, so you never know what will happen, some wink wink injuries like said above, you never know.
I'm all for Poe and West getting that season ending hangnail injury. I like both rookies as much as I like Burford and Zakelj. Another underdog I like, that may not need a season ending hangnail injury is Purdy. I really am pulling for Purdy, and I hope he beats out Sudfeld (very long shot I know) but I like Purdy's mobility much better than Sudfelds, and I think you don't need to really change the offense with Purdy vs Sudfeld who's mobility is Jimmy-esque. I also think Purdy's arm is a bit better than Nick Mullens.

I mean if it helps us from losing them off waivers I'm all for the hint hint season-ending injuries lol.
I hope, if Mack retires, we sign Tretter, but I could see Brendel starting, he played well, but I have Mack & West at C right now, I actually have 10 OL & 10 DL on my 53 right now, working on it.

I have to believe Brendal plays center if Mack goes. Maybe it's different if Moore takes Brunskill's spot.

With Burford taking 74, could it mean Mike McGlinchey is getting the Laken Tomlinson deal?
I originally expected Burford to start at RG since they had a 3rd round grade on him.
We'll see.

McGlinchey's a good player, is he the best RT? No, he'll end up getting a good sized deal, won't be from us, I think Burford was drafted to be the RT in 2023, and yes a 3rd rd grade is a starter to me, but doesn't have to in year 1 IMO.

I also think Jaylon Moore wins the RG spot, Aaron Banks LG, I think in 2023 it could look like this if all goes well.
LT- Trent
LG- Banks
C- West
RG- Moore
RT- Burford
A lot of youth, but if they all play well, it doesn't matter IMO, of course we need to see what happens this season.

That's exactly my line of thinking.

I don't think it can be discounted that they move Brunskill to center should Mack retire. They really like Brunskill's versatility and he started there the final 8 games of the 2020 season.
Training camp and preseason will be a lot of fun to watch and monitor in a number of units this season. Interior oline, corner, and dline will have some great competition. There will be inevitable and unfortunate injuries that sort some of the depth chart out but im really looking forward to how it all shakes out in the end.

If I'm not mistaken Wilson could be stashed on the PS and elevated in case any of the 3 runners has to miss time. So you keep 3 RB on the main roster and 2 more on the PS. I believe if 4 RB are on the roster and all healthy, the 4th becomes a healthy scratch.

I don't think they want Brunskill to start, at all. He is the perfect wildcard backup, has started 4/5 positions of the OL.Was an unsung hero for the 2019 season when injuries hit hard the OL.

Yes, correct, but only if Wilson agrees to it, he's guaranteed $530K, and his salary on the PS would be $277,200 to begin, so he could be one of the 6 players with 3+ yrs accrued on the PS, plus he doesn't go through waivers.
