I will watch tonight. Missed first airing. There is an entire other side of tragedy on this subject. My mom is 91. Chronically ill. She literally screams in pain just to stand up from arthritis taken over her body. There is no cartilage left in her knee caps. Bone on bone. Too old for surgery. Four back operations dating back to 70s steel pins chronic nerve damage. The whole thing is a mess. Point of all that. No one in CA will prescribe a pain medicine that will help. Because of this drug situation and situations like this CNN documentary the Government has put strict and almost impossible to follow tasks on Doctors now. They have to report monthly the patient. They have to report reason. They have to report everything they are doing to reduce the patient dosage. How long and why a lower dose medication won't work. It goes on and on. These DRs have told us they can't follow these guidelines and won't prescribe. So she takes a medication that just barely does anything to help. I've gone to a host of Doctors.

Many of the real victims here are those truly ill. They are left to suffer due to actions because of these two clowns and those like them.

Sorry, I know off topic but you keep posting to watch. Please understand those this impacted and not just those out snorting in their car.

Don't miss it, tell your mom to watch, too. You'll never forget it.

There is a lot of credit to be given for his presnap play also. Given we know shanahan is in his ear all the way up until the snap purdy is able to effectively translate all of his talking into something cohesive, line up, make adjustments at the line and still get the snap off.

We saw what happened with Johnson in there and how even Jimmy and Trey struggled to get the plays off timely.

Whoever shanahan has behind center basically had to be a savant to understand and translate his constant chatter into something and still line up and execute.

Has the way the headset works changed? I might be dating myself here, but there use to be a very short window like 10-15 second that the headset was on for the QB. You could not get a ton of information to the QB. A lot of times when there was an actual delay of game on the offense it was from hitting the transmit button to early and loosing that window to send the play in. So any indecision in what the next play would be would screw up the play call if the guy sending the play down was not on the same page.

As I recall it, a lot of the issues for Tim Rattay and Alex Smith came from that convoluted system Nolan used to compile his run and pass game and who was talking to the QB.

Maybe I filled in the blanks from what Alex said and what is actually happening, but I was always under the impression that was a very brief time of communication. It would be great if that was wide open to feed the QB information.

I went through the same with my Mom man, sorry brother. I definitely don't need to get started on the issue, but wanted you to know you're not alone.

Technology has changed, but rule still says the coach can't talk to through the headset to QB once play clock hits 15 seconds.

Is there a particular reason you keep mentioning this documentary?

Watch it and you'll understand. I wouldn't keep mentioning it if I didn't think you guys would be fascinated by it. Watch it!

Ok thanks - will do.

Joe Montana will go to his death bed being bitter towards the 49ers. It's a such a shame that the greatest 49er of all time doesn't embrace the organization.

makes me thankful for guys like Steve Young and Jerry Rice who are passionate for the team to this day

We did Joe dirty. But it's a business and he couldn't stay healthy.
