I want the best guy to start and trust Kyle to decide who that is.

Brock will go in as QB1 as deserved....but why are the Trey Lance threads blocked? So thankful we have Brock but I'm a Trey guy. Shock the world Trey and work on your accuracy.
Trolls ruined that thread with the same points daily.

No. At the absolute, rock bottom worst, he is the best backup in the league, on a cheap ass deal. I want to see what we can get out of Trey and hope Kyle can get as much out of him as he has Jimmy and Brock, but if not, I'm happy with what I saw from the kid's heart alone.
Trey Lance won't have anywhere close to the success that Purdy has had. Start Trey Lance and the 9ers will go back to being a bottom dweller team. Build around Brock and the 9ers are right back in the playoffs.

Looks like right elbow for Purdy…ulnar nerve possibility…entire hand/fingers go numb. No grip at all…I've had it happen before and it's ROUGH.

Based on how Dr's are handling it & what Purdy is doing to loosen it up & the angle at which he was hit…it's identical to what happened to me in pre-season 2021 vs Seattle. Takes a bit to regain feeling in it

Terry Bradshaw suggests Brock Purdy can't feel his fingers.

Just responding to the part where you're hoping what Shanahan can get outta Trey.
Brock Purdy said he could not throw the football anything over 5 or 10 yards after his elbow injury. He's still feeling the pain. He said he has no idea if it's a significant injury. He will undergo an MRI tomorrow.

Sucks how it ended for him. Still undefeated in my eyes. Looking forward to a competition with Brock and Trey. I legit think the former can be a top QB. The latter has the talent, but hasn't played enough to put it all together. Definitely one of our bright spots going forward.
