Purdy definitely didn't have a bad first half. However, he definitely looked shaky in the first half. He was inaccurate at times and predetermined a lot of throws. But in no way was it bad.
Saying that it was in no way was it bad seems like a stretch. Multiple missed wide-open guys, leaving probably close to an additional 14-21 points off the board. 47% completion percentage. Multiple throws bouncing off defenders. If someone doesn't think that half could possibly be considered in any way bad, I feel like they're doing Brock a disservice by not believing he can be so much better than what he showed.
Its not about how you start. Its about how you finish. If that is Brock's worse, I can live with that.
Agreed. To be clear, I thought he played great in the second half.
