None of the other rookies did ANYTHING unique or special. Purdy has in limited time while also having all the pressure and expectations of the world for this on his shoulders.

i know it's not that many games but this kid came in and has been special, unique, and outright exponentially better than any other rookie.

seahawks RB - barely breaks 1k yards as the primary running back on a playoff team? What's special and unique about that. You should do that?

garret wilson & Olave - both had good seasons, no doubt, but they're the PRIMARY options for their offense. So they barely broke 1k yards? What's great about that?

purdy - leads the league in every passing statistic besides yards since he became a starter. Hasn't lost a game (something only one other plays has done through five games - really he's won 6). Second best QBR ever for first five starts. THATS AMAZING. THAT DESERVES AN AWARD.

awards shouldn't be given to anyone who has a mediocre season, especially as the primary option for their offense.

just my opinion. I don't think he will win it but it just bugs the s**t out of me that everyone's excuse is how many games?

Let him get overlooked. I think he takes it well.

I think small sample size is a legitimate argument against giving him the award. I think most here would agree that there is some point between 0 to 16 games played where it is too few to give him the award. Seems like the general sentiment in the media is that 6 games is below that threshold.

Among all of NFL players and specifically the quarterbacks, Purdy tested in the top 3 percent. His results rate with the likes of Joe Burrow, Josh Allen, and, in a particularly important way, with Drew Brees.

Hahahaha imagine people trying to find ways to tear you down that they look at your college tape to nitpick.

the guy didn't have a very good team in college - he had to over compensate and try to play hero ball. I'd rather him learn that lesson then instead of now. He has a great team around him, so that stuff is most likely not going to happen.
idk why people can't just enjoy the success?

we haven't had qb play like this in like 21 years… lol people are so ungrateful.

You seem hellbent on putting Purdy down in any way possible. Not sure what the motivation is?
