On to the next! If you'd if told me me that we'd be 6-1 going into the bye, with the most injuries in the league, I'd of said you were crazy. Great start to the year. Really need to get healthy and get focused. A lot of the season left:
I hope John lynch trades for a couple good guys. The rest of the guys need the rest and recalibration.

I think I predicted a 11- 6 season, so far so good with a 6 - 1. I'd be happy if they win a 🏆 with a 11 - 6. I think a lot of the problems was just holding on to the ball and pressing too much. They had over 400 yards of offense and 5.2 yards per carry. That was with crappy WR's. They held Dijon to under 100 yards. 5 turnovers and they were still in the game until Kittle's turnover. Just get healthy, add some playoff depth and this team is ready for a deep playoff run.

Everything will be alright. lol sucks to lose but as bad as a game we played, still had a chance to win it. Idk what the hell is up with Eddie, dudes been a wreck all year. I think this year he leads the league in misses for both kicks and PATs. What the heck, either he's injured or gambling like a mofo. Lol

He made some bad throws sure, but Brock Purdy was also missing his top 5 WRs. Any other qb this would be a justifiable excuse for a bad performance. But when it's Purdy? "Lol not so good without the averagers"

11-6 at this point would be a massive disappointment. So they only won 5 more games the rest of the way? Doesn't bode well heading into the postseason. Just gotta stay healthy. Vegas and Dallas should be comfortable wins.

Darnold and Mahomes had terrible ints last night. Mahomes was being pressured up the ass and Darny had mad happy feet before he threw his (which almost was a pick 6).

Just one of those games with two terrific defensive plays that you just tip your hat to.
Though while I didn't think so during the game footage I do think it's BS that they called that an interception by Bates. The fact that you have the ref with his back to the play(where he can't see when the ball is actually brought in to time it to the foot) saying it's a pick and the guy who faced the play saying it was incomplete and they rule it an interception is incredibly ridiculous. Guaranteed had they stuck with the guy facing the plays call it stays as an incomplete pass.
When you slow it up that foot comes up before he secures the ball IMO. In order for his foot to still be touching dude must have spiderman grips where the ball just sticks as soon as it touches his fingers. Pretty sure no real human alive even a great NFL safety has that ability.
Of course it's still on Brock for trusting Cowing to do the right thing. Don't take that risk unless you trust the guy in that area to fight for the ball.
Second pick was another great play and one of those where Purdy simply didn't see him with the rush in his face and the guy delaying his drop. Still needed all of his 6'5 frame to go up and get that ball down to pick it off. That ball is a completion over probably 90% of the linebackers in the NFL right now.
Definitely not his finest hour but all things considered nobody in their right mind should be worried about Brock moving forward. As always the issue is the health of the guys around him. Need Mike and the other guys back asap.
Having an ugly game going into the bye week is never fun but when it brings you into the bye at 6-1 with a 2.5 game lead in the division maybe it's not a bad thing this time.
Front office may have needed an L to make trading a higher priority(we'll see how they respond)
Anyone on the squad buying their own stink now gets a reality check.
Ugly tape all around - offense, defense and special teams. Nobody safe. Enjoy your rest, heal up from any injuries/wounds but come back hungry and ready to play our best football after the bye.

Evans makes that catch that Cowing didn't 💯. He looks completely lost out there for the most part. It's like he is two fries short of combo meal. He doesn't look comfortable either.
Sloppy ass game all around, hopefully, hungry and healthier after the bye and we embarrass the Raiders

Yeah I saw that Cowing is a bum
Yep. Upon further review, Cowing stopped running. So Purdy being Purdy and not throwing his teammate under the bus during the postgame interview.

Every QB has a bad game once in awhile. Brock's day wasn't terrible.Just not as solid as hisusualy game. Take away one INT that was a good defensive play and add a TD by Watkins that was taken away because of the bobble and his numbers look a lot better.

The way it was going if Cowing had not stopped running and he made the same catch as the INT, it would have be ruled incomplete.

I got you big dawg. This was in the 2nd qtr, after Penix hit the TE to make the score 14-9… Check out Jordan Watkins on the far right of the formation. pic.twitter.com/T1rTlmm7oH
