Really was a good tackle. Thought they were going to flag him.

Colby's got some quickness for a hoss.

Regarding Purdy's interception yesterday, there's a distinct possibility that either Cowing didn't run the correct route or lost his footing coming back for the football. The losing of the footing, or falling back when he needs to come back to the ball is something that has happened more than once with Cowing.

I know this has been mentioned in other threads, but Cowing is really, really bad. He's only on the team right now due to insane number of injuries to the WR.

Initally I thought it might be partly on Cowing yesterday, but now that I looked at it more, I think Brock was late on the throw. It open up for the defender to undercut and INT.

I like how Purdy doesn't crumble when he throws an interception. Doesn't affect him one bit. He owns it and plays better.

As soon as he threw that pick, he probably just decided not to throw anymore to anyone not named Evans, Kittle, or CMC.

Well, Brock Purdy owns Seattle and their defense. The only two losses came when the team was down to second and third stringers last year. Sorry facts
No way anyone can argue this

Seahawk Slayer, Brock Purdy

That's right Montana

So good, that one to Evans in the corner for the TD and the strike to D Rob
And Brock's footwork is looking pretty tight

I admit that when we got Jimmy G here I got so excited I wrote a few hyperboles about him (can't really blame myself because we were really suck during those times) but with Purdy, he's on another level and there are numbers to back it up.

Jimmy G would back up Kurtis Rourk if he was here today. I think we have another future QB star in Rourk. I don't know what will happen to Mac this year, my gut says they aren't trading him. But I'm looking forward to seeing Kurtis Rourk develop along the lines of Brock also.

Only team that I think would trade anything remotely close to what the team wants for MAC, are the Vikings. Idk if they'd do that though but it's a team that would make sense to upgrade at the QB position this year. I doubt the Niners would trade Mac there knowing both teams are on a collision course for the playoffs.

i think Mac will ultimately stay with us and leave to Minnesota in the off season.

If Cowing had come back to the ball instead of just standing there waiting for it to get to him, he would have either caught it or blocked that DB from getting it. Either way it looks like pretty poor effort on his part. I suspect Kyle will rip him for it in the film room.

its hard to blame that on him i wouldve thought the ball shouldve gone more to the sidelines you cant expect someone to run an out route then come back to middle of the field

Middle of the field? He literally had to take two steps to his left and drive on the ball. I'm perfectly willing to concede Brock may have made a bad throw and I have no doubt, if someone asked him about it, he would take the blame. I'm no expert on QB play or breaking down film but quite frankly, if one of those guys made a mistake on that play my money is on Cowing. Brock has been in the system for five years, Cowing has hardly played at all, so yeah, I'm thinking he probably did something Brock wasn't expecting him to. Didn't end up costing the game but personally, I'll be glad when Stribling comes back. Cowing hasn't impressed me much as a receiver and the decision not to fair catch that punt was a pretty bad one, as well.
