QB Brock Purdy Thread

Injuries are the only thing keeping us from getting to,and winning 1-3 SB in the next 5yrs. Purdy is really starting to pick teams apart and make it look easy. I really liked the pump fake and looking of LB's & safeties these last few games. He gets better every game and does it even though he's losing weapons. The 2nd half of the season is going to be really something when players start coming back. Mr Irrelevant So glad we have him and look forward to the rest of this season and beyond!!!!! Go Niners

Hate to beat a dead horse but holy smokes we got super lucky drafting this kid. Bailed us out of the Trey Lance debacle. Picturing the state of the franchise without him is depressing lol

Probably Darnold I think.
Kyle would have found someone, I'm sure about it.
Now would that QB be as good as Purdy?

Besides yes they were lucky to draft Purdy but at some point when you draft so many good players in the rounds 5 to 7, maybe there's more than just luck. Maybe the coaching staff knows how to develop young players.
That's why I laugh everytime someone loses his mind on 49ers drafts and busts. Watch the rest of the league. Everybody misses in the draft. Everybody misses badly. And boy did the Niners make some giant mistakes in the draft. But ultimately, I watch this roster every season and I'm like "Yeah, this team is solid".

Whatever Tom, you said we should start Mac instead of Purdy not long ago. "Go with the hot hand", keeping Mac as QB1 even after Purdy was back and healthy from turf toe. Or does he not think people can remember this s**t? He just goes with which ever way the wind is blowing. Not everything is about you Tom, by the way.

I like Tom as a player, that's where it ends lol, these days, he is a bit of a doof.

Darnold would've not been as good if he didn't back up brock purdy. It was brock who tought him how to play the quarterback position.

Hard to compare Brock to another QB as he seems very unique. Its almost like he is generating a new baseline for future QBs to compare themselves to him.

INTs is a dumb comparison when comparing multiple QB's to one.

Much more curious about total passing yards, combined completion percentage, etc.
