Exactly, if I had to choose - sure it's the superbowl MVP, but both would be preferable. Just need the team to stay healthy. So far, outside of tongis, it seems like guys will be coming back. I'm not really considering Alfred cause he never played this year and didn't look good regardless.

brock in the playoffs with his full arsenal, beautiful. We are scoring like we did in 2023. We used to drop 30 a game. Feels like Brock is back to that kind of decisiveness.

He played amazing.

BUT...... and a huge BUT....

We need to see him do similar things vs SEA or it doesnt mean anything.

SEA is our krypronite right now and Mcdonald owns Kyle and Brock.

If we lose to SEA like 27-24 in a few weeks I'd feel far more optimistic than if we won 13-10.

Brock needs to show he can put up points and TDs vs the team directly in our way and this iteration of SEA's dominant defense that held us to 9 points and zero TDs in our two biggest games of the season.

Thus my enthusiasm for this MVP performance today is largely tempered.

I don't think it's that realistic for us to put 20+ on the Seahawks with our current offensive weapons. That defense is too good and we don't really have a guy like a Puka that can consistently give them problems. If there is a difference between this year and last year, it'll probably have to be more about our defense against their offense.

Well that is not encouraging since we cannot stop the run to save our lives.

We are just pretenders if we can not put up at least 20 points on SEA.

We really do need to make a huge mid-season trade for a top shelf run-stuffing DT or at minimum trade to get Buckner back.

Great but concerned about injuries to the team. The durability of Evans, which is why I complained of him joining the team, our WRs keep getting injured. I don't wanna get too hyped, I know he is capable of getting the trophy for us but injuries just seem to be a problem. It's so early in the season.

Lots of weird comments in here. we did what we were supposed to do, maybe a little better. Brock performed as he was supposed to, maybe a little better. The difference that was a little surprising to me was the play calling. We continued to attack and execute until the other team physically didn't have the time to get back in the game. We didn't prematurely switch into clock burning mode when we had a 3 score lead. Result was a blowout, not a Pineiro field goal festival.

Brock has already shown he can beat Seattle and has done it several times. The two games against them at the end of last year were more a product of all of the injuries we had as anything else. We're only in the second week of the season and already several of our top receivers are either dealing with long term injuries or out for the year. Hopefully, Stribling and Robinson will be back in time for the stretch run.

Another factor they have to contend with is all the injuries along the D-line and what Fred Warner said today was the D's need to improve their familiarity with Morris' system. So, it's not all on Brock. Seattle's defense is no joke, but if McCaffrey, Black, Kittle, Bosa and Warner all remain healthy and we're not asked to field a team with Watkins and Cowing as our two primary receivers, I think we are perfectly capable of beating them. But I suspect that even if we do, you'll find another bar to set that Brock has to meet before you're satisfied. At some point you'll have to come to grips with the fact that Brock is the QB of this team and that Trey Lance is never coming back.

Yeah, as soon as I saw that play, I thought, that's just like the first TD Brock threw to him, even down to that little jump he made to cross the line. Maybe it's a sign that Brock will be taking them back to the NFC Championship game this year. go Niners!

Amazing game by Purdy. He should have had at least 3 TD passes if Kyle would throw a fade or two to Mike Evans.^^
He made such a great play on 3rd and five on the first Niners drive.
He saw the Dolphins Defender coming, did a turnaround, scrambled and found Mike Evans. Such a great improvisation by Purdy and what a catch by Evans too.
Overall this offense just looks so reliable with Purdy as QB.
