QB Brock Purdy Thread

no, pass on burrow he is overrated in my book, he plays with front running squads of legendary wide receivers and for some reason gets sacked a ton a lot of that is on him, he doesn't play as fast as brock, he also looks like home alone

Lol well, Burrow is a great qb, super smart, I don't think he is overrated. But I would rather have Purdy at this time and I agree that Purdy seems to play faster.

I'm a No. Kyle and Brock are perfect for each other. They have a combo that covers up for each others weakness and elevates their strength. A different coach, say a Jim Harbaugh, or another successful coach might not have the same kind of interpersonal relationship that Brock and Kyle have.

I'm a huge fan of Brock Purdy but of course you trade him for Burrow. Not for multiple firsts, but maybe a first and Brock.

Burrow has a higher ceiling.

Putting down Josh Allen is weird IMO. The guy is a monster and pretending he's not cerebral simply because he's able to do those freak things is also silly.

I love that we have Brock but there is no need to downplay other guys.

Allen is just playing backyard ball.. it why he fks up at the end of games

And brock doesn't. Big difference is Allen has the physical tools to pull them off more often than not vs brock who can throw some of the most frustrating floater ints I've ever seen from a qb of his caliber

We're doing this song and dance again? Which of his interceptions fall into this category for you? Cuz I can guarantee you the majority of what you think are "floater ints" are not.

Again not cutting down Josh, cause goodness forbid but if one watches the play of him making that 22 yard scramble backwards and getting sacked in the end zone, does anyone see Purdy doing that?

josh allen is ridiculous he just tied frank gore in career rush touchdowns this is a qb equaling what gore did and he played til he was like 36

I wasn't saying the dude is not talented, I just don't see Brock making some decisions he has made, he is also more emotional and I prefer the dude who isn't. Not saying Brock is perfect, he has had some plays where I am scratching my head but idk I just would trust Brock more as a qb. I will give it a rest though lol

That's a pretty crazy accomplishment but not exactly something that excites me for a QB. Plus we know the boxes for Frank were stacked most of his career.

However this is why I won't bash Allen for his mistakes. Brock has his share so it's hypocritical to give one guy crap while overlooking those for the other.

Allen is able to do things Brock will simply never be able to do. Partly why it feels like the Bills don't give him as much help, essentially the "Josh will make it happen"

Regardless I'm very happy we have Brock and Kyle. They're a great marriage and I'm excited to see what they can do this year. I just pray the rest of our guys stay healthy cuz I thought Stribling would be a huge addition. Already losing Pearsall sucks. We need the other guys to stick around and ball out with Brock making right decisions and spreading the ball around.
