Lock had a pretty good game against a cheesy patriot defense. Good for him. I'm good with our guy.

We went to two title games with Jimmy, and he really played poorly in the 2nd run. He was hurt though, in addition to being pretty dumb.

The Trey Lance trade was especially awful because the player wasn't good enough to replace Jimmy right away… not even close.

"Right away..." Lol.

Trey lance would have to play five full seasons at QB to make up all the snaps he missed in High School and College before going pro.

That's why his current development is snailing.

We should pick him up and try him out at line backer. That was his original position.

You can find fault with a player without hating him. Every player has faults. There are no perfect QBs. At least I've never seen one that didn't have some weakness or flaw. Pointing out these weaknesses doesn't mean you hate the player.

I meant the group on here that hates him, there are some on here that won't give him props for anything.

I do agree everyone has flaws or parts of them game they need to improve, the league changes every year.

if you haven't see Kirk cousins talk about Mike Macdonald's defense - it's really interesting. He essentially makes 3 defensive shows in 1 play.

- pre snap look disguise
- the first read or two is one type of defensive look cause they rotate to their play so late
- the final look for the 3rd and 4th read is now different cause the safeties have adjusted.

really interesting, he said it was wild to experience.

Jimmy G did not take the 9ers to 3 nfc title games.

You need to let it go. Kyle made Jimmy G. Minute Kyle was gone he turned back into the pumpkin.

One thing i like about Raheem is that him and Mike MacDonald - they both kind of (in a sense) run the same kind of defense. Its those kinds of defenses that have historically given Brock fits. Coverage disguises and multiple fronts. Now Brock can practice against a MacDonald type of defense to improve his passing game against these multi-front Coverage disguised defenses.

Mike MacDonald's type of defenses would really give Jimmy problems, becuase his defense really does bait the QB into throwing interceptions in the middle of the field.

I agree with the poster who pointed out this is the brock purdy thread.

My remarks were meant to disagree with those who falsely portray jimmie as an incorrigible disaster who is single handedly responsible for thwarting kyle shanahans genius.

Jimmy contributed many positives to the organization and never complained publicly about having senior staff provide in depth critiques of his game performance to the press on an almost weekly basis. That's all. Not saying he didn't have some issues, just appreciating what he did well and saying thanks.

Because when you 6'4" with a laser rocket arm they forget how much of a choke artist you are. Then start making up tons of crap excuses and say if they had this coach or that coach or this player or that player like Brock has.
