Stafford 2nd before Mahomes and Burrow what are we doing? You want to put Stafford in the top 5 sure no problem but 2nd?
And that's not even the worst part of this ranking by the way.

I don't think this was a who would you build your future around question. Having the NFL MVP number 2 is more than fair because the question was where do you think these QBs rank out after the season.

but the ranks are just kinda dumb imo, stafford clearly gets bumped up cuz he benefits from adams, puka, mcvay, the system and so forth. it's like darnold he was rank 50 and then put him on a good team he's ranked much higher, well that's just ranking the team more or less not the qb, so it's very flawed

I don't pay attention to them I feel they are generally geared toward fantasy players focusing on stats.

Purdy is his own toughest critic. I doubt he's sensitive to any way with his coaches discussing how he can take additional steps to improve inbetween the massive praise they give him.

Agree and I think his command of the offense will go to the next level this year. All that studying of how defenses strategize and attack this offense and his own maturing skills of reading and processing that he has been developing since 2022 is going to make him a great QB this year.

I don't believe this has anything to do with who teams would build around/take going forward. It's for 2026 only. Stafford deserves to be at 2 (or 1). As of today, Burrow, Mahomes, Lamar, Maye, Caleb etc are not better than Stafford.

He has the best roster to work with. But that's a fact and we can't ding him for it.

I disagree only because Purdy was already good at processing what he saw. His command of the offense and his ability to process are his best skills. For that reason I don't see much room to improve. It's not like he was some raw physical talent that had to learn to do this things.
there is room to improve... its a chess game, seeing moves ahead of time versus seeing moves 4 or 5 steps ahead of time, that is his progression.... he is going to have his best statistical year this year

Well I see it more like resistance training, in a sense. He had such a crappy set of WR's last year that he had to develop his mental muscles even more. Just like you gain strength when you add a weight belt when jogging, having crappy WR's half of the year would speed up his reading of defenses and his accuracy even more. Just my take on it.
