Purdy's superpower is his processing. As he gets further into his NFL career there will be less and less things defensive coaches can throw at him that will surprise him.
That's why I think had Purdy seen that look from KC/Spags in the SB this season he would've made the right read. Hard to do that when you're a young QB.
My biggest concern is our OL. If they can hold it down and we have our top WRs on the field I expect a big season from Brock.

And there are examples of him making great decisions at end of games (Bears game, Packers playoff game), so why harp on the more risky ones, especially one that also won a game.

You don't throw a Hail Mary into double coverage on 2nd down with over a minute left on the clock with the season on the line. You don't force it on 3rd down when you're in field goal range to tie. He for some reason wants to play hero ball and it's bitten us in the ass more than once. He has the situational awareness of Brett Farve

Trying risky stuff in training camp is where you learn and manage those situations. Personally, I'd be concerned if Brock wasn't throwing interceptions in camp. That would tell me he's not growing, learning limits.
