Nah. If we're going to have a big money QB, I'd prefer the better one. I don't think the comparison is settled though.
The reality is if Sam continues to play winning football with that team and potentially plays even better, he'll be getting a new deal after next season. Prob won't be the type of value gap you're looking for between the two players.
Very true but still they have another season of a fairly cheap qb and they could backload his extension.
