You were saying?

Let's not sugarcoat it. He damn near gave the game away.

He was almost killed against Seattle on the last play, we were lucky to have him today.
He was very good in the first half. Then greedy and forcing it in the second. Then clutch on a game winning drive. Now what? 5-2 in the playoffs with 3 comebacks?

Lol is that why he threw those horrible picks?
He was pretty damn good besides the two bad throws that ended up int. Guy out there throwing to 3rd string guys and under a lot of pressure:
Build him a line and get him some weapons and he can be a mvp.

I'll have to see the replay, and especially see it w/o all the emotions of the game, but how bad of a read really was Brock's 2nd INT today? I know he had juice for a check down but it kind of looked like to me the read was OK but the pass was sh*t, possibly due to the wind? Anybody else see that?

My buddy texted me that the CB grabbed Tonges and pulled himself in front of him. I couldnt rewind. Can anyone verify that too?
Far from perfect and the ints were bad, but he did come through in the clutch and that was against a top defense in tough conditions without some key weapons.
The defense bailed him out.

He needs to reign in the hero ball.
Doing it with no bodies

He had a jersey tug but it wasn't egregious. Yes it was a pi that was missed but the ball was late.

Bad decision by purdy that ref could have bailed him out of but didn't

He tends to tense up at times and goes into gunslinger mode which has good and bad consequences but mostly he needs to continue to trust the system and not try to force things or play hero ball. He's always moving in the right direction, I just wish they'd gift him a better OL overall. Second on that list is more speed at receiver.

The first INT was not all on him. The 2nd one definitely. That stupid juke he did before going out of bounds before the half was dumb as well.

But in the end, he just makes plays when it matters. Hats off to the Eagles D, they were very good and made it hard for Purdy. There's not many QB out there that would've played that much better against that defense today.

He took out a talent-loaded Fangio defense with a late touchdown while Jennings and McCaffrey were his only weapons of note and he was frequently under siege. Guy is clutch right when he most needs to be.
On one hand, the two INTs were very bad—I believe they both happened on 1st down and we were driving. Taking a sack would've been better and there was no reason to force those under pressure.

On the other hand… that was an EXCELLENT pass defense, on the road in the defending champions' playoff environment… with no Ricky or Kittle for most of the game.

Overall, more of a positive legacy game for Purdy

Purdy>>>>Hurts.

Give Brock that defense and all those weapons and this is a SB favorite.
