What seemed to be open against the Seahawks were short passes over the middle, and corner routes. They covered up middle and the flats (why you saw their dbs blasting our check downs)... the middle defenders stayed disciplined and didn't move with Purdy's helmet.. just kept get depth, waiting for recievers to come back into the middle.
Mac would have gotten blown up though. Purdy barely survived, even with his pocket awareness and running ability.
Yea mac would have blown a knee or been concussed by halftime. Our line couldn't build a clean pocket consistently. Too dangerous.
