That's cuz rams and seahawks. Between us rams seahawks we are 1 2 3 in the nfc.
We played last place team in several divisions.
We still have one more game to play.
We only play 3 games a year based off of your previous year's standings. This year was NYG, CLE and CHi. CHI isn't a cellar dweller this year. So really only 2 games this year you can claim as playing last place teams.
we got two bottom feeder matchups from our division --our especially bad cardinals team (3-13). Also saints and tenn (3-13)
not sure how it worked out this way but we got to play 5 games against the bottom 5 teams (cards 2x): giants, browns, tenn cards (2x). no raiders.
The only teams we have beat with a winning record are rams and bears.
This is a bizarre take to push. 49ers have played in the toughest division in football and we played Arizona before they lost a ton of their players to injury as well. They came into that game 2-0 while we had backups all over the offense and lost Nick early in that game on top of it.
Rams played the Eagles(yeah that's a tough one) Ravens missing a bunch of guys including Lamar Jackson and Lions also missing a huge chunk of their roster due to injury.
They also got us with a ton of backups in a game they lost and in one of the most lopsided injury reports got us again where they clobbered us without Brock.
Seattle played Pittsburgh, Washington and Vikings with their 3rd string QB.
Browns just cuz of their defense and weather was arguably a tougher game than either of the non PA games for Rams and Seahawks.
We also didn't get to tee off on a beat to hell Rams/Seahawks in our games. So cut the schedule narrative please.
Especially when the Rams lost to Carolina and Atlanta and Seattle lost to us(hopefully as a sweep)
I wasnt saying anything about Seattle or Rams. Just us.
We played five games against the bottom 5 teams in the league by record, . That is true.
Of the teams we beat, only rams, seattle and bears are over .500. That is true.
We beat Seattle with Bosa and Warner. We beat the Rams with Warner.
We no longer have Bosa and Warner. That is true.
I don't know the ins and outs of the Seahawks or Rams season.
What you are implying is that they inflated their records through happenstance (like us a little bit?)
Maybe. I think we have an even shot to beat Seattle because we have scouted them so much over the years.
We can outscore them, but if our defense can't force a single punt, I dont see us winning 3 straight in the playoffs.
