That last bit is such an insightful comment. With all the churn at WR last year I'm convinced guys were missing their landmarks and as a result Brock was not trusting the dudes we had to consistently be where they were supposed to be. That is mandatory for this offense and with this QB.

We go from good to great when we also have at least a couple of guys who can consistently separate vs man coverage. An issue the chiefs exposed in the SB and teams exploited last year.

It looks like it's those glasses with a camera in them, which is what they're using for those POV shots in the clip.

As fans, we care most about what the guy does for us on the field, obviously, but it's really nice to have a guy you trust at QB and he's a great role model.

I care about what players do off the field-to an extent. I just dnt want them to be jerks and yeah, being good role models is good, for kids and such. BP is a baller but his character also makes him easy to cheer for .

I recall two years ago Shanahan was talking about how foundational Purdy's faith is to the person and player he is. He is just the same everyday regardless of the situation because of that foundation.
GLOCK Purdy
makes me giddy when hes locked in. Makes me reminisce about the Golden niner QBs that were KILLIN them out there.

After all of that talk about Purdy only playing great because of the other players, I wonder how much this will impact the market for BA. Sure looking like it was Purdy making him look good rather than the other way.

For so long I've been trying to remember which linebacker he juiced at the goalline for a td run. The linebacker was so angry afterwards at himself lmao. I swear it was against Houston. But the Bear he fleeced in this vid was probably one of many lol.

I doubt any other team will offer him big money seeing as how he will just walk away.

I agree. There was a huge drop-off from the reliance he had on Aiyuk is 2023 to what he had to work with last year.

Chemistry and trust are critical to a good passing attack. As Brock says in the clip, the game moves so fast that you have to know and trust what you are doing in order to succeed.

Aiyuk injury and behavior will be a much bigger hindrance to his market.

No doubt in my mind he'll be a Raider.

The Cowboys were better by a lot. People that think Steve Young was choking don't understand football. That was one of the best rosters ever assembled. They were doubling up on 1st and 2nd round picks from the Hershall Walker trade. That team was absolutely loaded with talent. They were better and expected to win most of the time. The one year we added all kinds of FA's including Deion is when we won. LB's and edge pass rushers too. We barely could over come them 1 time. But over the years they really were the better roster.

This.

The 49ers lost to the Chiefs in two SB's. Think of how great KC was. And than imagine those Cowboys teams absolutely obliterating said Chiefs teams in the SB. That is what would have happened.

Just goes to show how loaded Dallas was in every phase of the game. They literally had no weaknesses.

Best thing about Dallas back then was their Oline. I mean they had a Wall protecting Aikman and Emmitt Smith.

There's a universe where the 49ers dont trade Charles Haley, at least not to Dallas. They sign Reggie White, dont use a 1st rounder on William Floyd, instead taking Isaac Bruce and they move up for Larry Allen and take Tony Richardson in the 7th, a guy who goes on to have a better and longer career than Floyd.

In that universe they have 6 or 7 Lombardis before the 90s are over.

Poor Alex. His leg looks really messed up after all those surgeries. Hopefully he's ok. I feel bad for what happened to him.

Lol last thing I was thinking about in that convo is how is leg looked. . He came back and played after the injury, which was just so unreal to me. Dude is a stud and his personality, he really does seem like a genuine and very nice guy. He has been supportive, a bit like Young. Could have been bitter like Phoenix said...but that's just not him. Dude comes across as very humble and honest. Two very likeable qbs chatting it up, love it. Always like it when Alex makes an appearance
