QB Brock Purdy Thread

Lol with our oline he better be great. He's had four years of extreme practice staying alive behind undersized blockers who are optimized to execute downfield.

And speaking of Brock Purdy slander, I noticed that a superstar quarterback had three interceptions this week and another Superstar quarterback who's the darling of the analysts threw a last minute off schedule pic to lose a game for his team.

Why aren't the big mouths all over them?hmm? Why?

Lol

What's there to get right about tho? He played well against the Cardinals and Browns

Oh Boy.

Yall are setting yourself up.

I still don't feel he's in his groove yet. The Browns game showed he has adjusted to trying to protect the ball. BUT that game also had our offense in good field positions multiple times. Browns were basically trying to give us the game.

So yeah IMO, this is another game to get into a groove, to play with confidence going into the playoffs.

The Colts game will be as well, since Daniel Jones ain't playing.

Agreed here, but just this part alone will improve our chances of winning the next 4 games tremendously if Purdy can protect the ball. Combine that with being favored it'll be hard for us to lose the games if we protect the ball, run our offense and the defense plays well.

Do what you want with this info.
Better to rock with Brock than a beat up Burrow. F the haters. This dude will get us our next ring that we have been wanting so badly for decades.

Playoff Purdy..soon

Make no mistake...it's definitely better to rock with Burrow. The issue is getting him isn't likely or the cost too great given our many needs to recoup depth.

So Brock is who we have and I believe he can be good enough.
Seeing a lot of burrow possibly being a trade candidate, would you move Brock and picks for Burrow? Brock would have to waive his no trade clause.

did Lombardi quote where he got his info from?

I don't mean to shift this discussion down another avenue. And let me add that I LIKE Joe Burrow.
But I don't like him coughing up about his unhappiness at the time he did.
You just walloped Baltimore on the road. Buffalo almost certainly would have been another grand victory HAD IT NOT BEEN FOR YOUR OWN silly interceptions!
As it is, Cincy STILL got a fighting chance. Why not rally around all that's left, and do your best to make that season-concluding run?
This may be the last example people want to hear, but can you imagine a Ray Lewis EVER whimpering about "not having fun"?
As the starting QB, Joe, you got to be the strongest, mentally, of all!
Love the 49ers. Love the type of QB (accuracy-wise) Joe Burrow is.
But no, don't come to San Francisco. At least not right now.

The no-trade clause makes this impossible

I mean it's not like Cinci is a s**t show with no talent around Joe. Brock would have to approve the move. Be weird if he said no and still played here lol.

either way almost a zero chance of that being a thing.

What? You just posted the same info that he did.

I'd do it yesterday....but it's not gonna happen. In fact....brace yourself....he's probably gonna be a Ram, cause that's all McVay works with it seems.

#1 O/A QB's.

I would say the only way the Bengals trade him is for 5 first rounders, but the Brown's (ownership) are dumbasses so they may just let him go for cheaper to the Rams.
