He thinks he would like to play for Kyle, but I don't think he would like it in reality, and he certainly wouldn't be running his rigid offense. Matt Ryan had his best year with Kyle and still isn't fan. Pretty astounding and speaks volumes imo. Hoyer has hinted at not liking his offense. Obviously Jimmy didn't like it either
It's amazing when Kyle can get the run game going and that's usually when his QBs have good years. It's poetry in motion when everything is rolling, but there's a reason many former players and his own former QBs are not fans of his passing offense
this is what Ryan said about Kyle this past July…
"I loved playing for Kyle," Ryan told Maiocco. "He is demanding but that's what you want. You want somebody who's going to push you to be the best version of what you're capable of and I always felt like Kyle did that for me in the two years that we were together."
"[He] pushed me a little bit out of my comfort zone in certain spots because he believed in me in certain ways and I think that helped me grow as a player," Ryan told Maiocco. "But, I think you want your head coach demanding and you want, you know, your coaches, position coaches, coordinators demanding the best of those guys and their track record speaks for itself. They've had a lot of success."
Trying to find scapegoats for Brock's play is pretty sad…we all know Brock can play better than he has over the past 20 games. We should all expect more given what he's making and what we need.
