Overall SF is 3-12 in Cleveland since they both started in the AAFL in 1946 (7-8 vs Cleveland in SF).

Brock Purdy was asked if the interceptions affected his confidence:
— Coach Yac 🗣 (@Coach_Yac) November 25, 2025
"It's tough. Mentality as a quarterback, you want to play aggressive, you want to take what the defense gives you, but when you turn the ball over three drives in a row, you feel the pressure. This is why we are… pic.twitter.com/eqMsTIWOhI
"I needed to just drive the ball a little more, I kept it up in the air too long on multiple of them... It had nothing to do with my toe."
— KNBR (@KNBR) November 25, 2025
Brock Purdy agrees with Kyle Shanahan, his three interceptions were good decisions, bad throws. pic.twitter.com/XDwSVddr9r

I have talked often about my INTs and I feel like #BrockPurdy plays a lot like me… He is mostly really good & makes a lot of big time throws, but it seems like every miss (which usually is a couple a game - which is actually very good) is an INT & the D rarely seems to drop any…

I dont like the whole "shrivel up and take a bunch of checkdowns" answer. I get what he meant but its presented in a very derogatory fashion...like come on dude, sometimes checkdown is the RIGHT play. Gotta be selective when you go for the big chunk.

He's not a very good QB. We now have a full season of him putting up elite numbers and a season and a half of him being very up and down. Dating back to last season he's on a downward trajectory. He's a good QB that needs A LOT of help. He's literally JG. He's not a franchise guy and certainly not a QB you give as much as the 49ers did. We roasted Dallas for Dak but did the same dumb s**t.
So how is Dak's record in the playoffs vs Purdy? Dak is total ass.

Brock reminds me of a destitute version of Russell Wilson who is visually impaired. You have to draft a QB next year.

Hot take or Maybe sumthin?
Rich knows more ball than 99% of the people on here. If he points something out like this, I'd pay attention.
I follow his page on twitter, very insightful when it comes to QB analysis, he is very complimentary and also very critical, he is not a homer like David Lombardi, how anyone can read his tweets and think david is insightful is beyond me lol

Shanahan said it was bad ball placement, not bad reads.
