I disagree with that. There is no way you can replace Nick Bosa and Fred Warner. I mean sure....go get Trey Hendrickson for a half year....but you can't replace Fred Warner. You saw what Stroud and the Texans did to SF's defense without those two guys? Yeah....they hyped up for the Falcons and whatnot, but you can't replace the talent for the long haul. That Texans Oline is worse than SF's, their offense is mid at very best and should've been a joke without guys like Collins....and our defense was practically a complete non-factor.
Who knows when guys like Purdy, Pearsall, Aiyuk, etc. are coming back....and how 'back' they will be when they do return? At this rate, there are no sure victories left on the schedule....not even the Titans. SF can't throw in the towel, but for me at this point it's just finishing out the season without any more major injuries heading into next year.

I meant a great spot to make the playoffs, not that we have some Superbowl worthy roster

Are we? We're the seventh and last seed right now.....I get that most everyone else behind SF are very flawed teams, but these injuries sooner or later catch up to you.

#49ers QB Brock Purdy was "not that close" to being active today, per Kyle Shanahan. Shanahan on Purdy's toe injury:

"It's something that probably won't fully go away all year regardless of when he comes back."

Basically saying that Purdy needs to man up and play through the pain

Just shut him down for the season. It's over.
