QB Brock Purdy Thread

Dude missed half a season with a toe now. I've supported Brock as much as anybody. Not that he is a bad player. I think he's pretty good. But not top tier like Mahomes obviously. It's just that he's injured a lot. First the elbow thing which was a freak accident with his arm bent back. But it still happened. Now a long term toe thing and other nicked up things over time. He's really injured a lot. If so was the huge quarter billion dollar deal or whatever the total contract was worth it? I'm starting to worry a bit now. His history really is injuries since he came in the league with us. He wasn't hurt that much at Iowa State.
Should be put on IR and get the correct medical treatment we arent progressing to the playoffs this season

You don't see 5 more wins on our schedule? A 10-7 record is very likely a playoff spot

Odds currently have the Niners with 81.9% chance to make the playoffs.

We play rams, Seahawks, cards, browns, colts, titans, panthers, giants and bears.

I don't think winning 5 of those is too far fetched so I agree with 82% odds

I don't think his body can hold up to the NFL.

I'm starting to worry about his injuries now and I have been one of his biggest supporters and backers on here. But the injuries and missed time are a concern now. Especially with the huge contract. It's not that he can't play. He doesn't have Mahomes or Allen talent. But he's a good processor, timing, anticipation, accuracy guy. Just can he stay healthy? So far in his career it looks like no. It's becoming a problem now.

I have to assume this belief is based on some notion that we won't suffer any more injuries. As this season has progressed, I basically expect more season enders which will drag us down.

Lol well maybe if we had an o-line that was worth a s**t, might help. That isn't on him.
Two s**tty injuries..is injured a lot? Lol. Turf toe sucks, maybe if artificial turf was banned, might help. But it won't be. Ppl will continue to be injured and ppl will continue to make a profit and not care.

Maybe if they didn't play him in the Jags game like the idiots that they were, might be healthy and playing now. Someone f**ked up. Biggest supporter? Dude, all you have done is whine that he isn't Mahomes for some time now lol. Mahomes can kma. Lol

Funny thing is Joe Burrow has arguably been more injury prone but Bengals fans aren't worried about him for obvious reasons.

The two big injuries that knocked him out for several games are pretty flukey.

Obviously that's the position you want out there every game and when you're paying them big money it is extra impactful but it's hard to say Brock is injury prone.

I mean of course we'll have other injuries, we'll also get others back. Not a guarantee we make playoffs but we're in a great spot

12-5 is very real if we handle the G men.

I keep telling myself he's twitchy and elusive and can avoid the big hits and his injuries are flukes. He needs to prove me right, i hope.
