If he needs the surgery let's get it done so he can come back next year. Jones will have to be the man this year . . .

Nah, that would have landed him on IR where he couldn't at least get some light reps in with the guys to stay sharp.
To be honest I don't know if that's helping the healing process. Even on a limited basis.

That's what I was saying a while back. Other doctors say it has to be immobilized or you'll keep making small tears, preventing healing and potentially turning it into chronic turf toe.

You don't immobilize it, you just need to stop the toe from extending. He could be wearing a boot around the house and a steel plate when practicing.

He needs to keep getting reps while he heals up. It's a delicate balance.

They should just tuck away Aiyuk as well. Next year will be the year with Bosa, Warner, Aiyuk, and BP all 100% lol.

Wouldn't a boot mean your immobilizing it?

Yeah, the toe. But you can do this without Brock sitting on the couch for a month.

We'll see if Aiyuk is on the team.
He's questionable to be the backup? Seriously what's the point, he either starts. Or doesn't suit up. Team is retarded sometimes.

Questionable because he wasn't ruled out. I don't know if he's the backup or just made inactive.

We won't know until the Inactive report is issued just before game time.

He plants on that foot to throw, how much can a steel plate do in that case? And his footwork was all off during that Jags game, with the plate in there. So, it's worthless rn.

Tbh, they probably should have thrown him on the couch..or just not put him in that damn Jags game. Seems negligent or something. Idk. Maybe they thought with those Ariats he wears, steel toe would be fine somehow. But it sounds like it just messed him up more:/

Questionable as he is the back-up. I expect him to be ready for Rams.
