I agree. Nothing left to play for. If leadership has quit on the team then just make sure you're good for 2026 king

Yah it was a total disaster in 2022 and 2023.

It is crazy that ppl dismiss his success as a qb here. Did they even watch? Lol

What about 2024 and his two games this year? It wasn't and hasn't been good. 2023 was a while ago. His trend has been going down I'm
not sure how that's deniable. Can he fix it? Sure. But it's not like his arrow is pointing up.

His arrow is pointing where it needs to if people are keeping the same energy for him as they do other QBs.

Purdy seems to be one of the few QBs who is constantly downplayed cuz of the players around him but can't be given an excuse when players around him aren't playing well.

Some of the loudest critics of Brock for this fanbase are out there today claiming how Stroud looked great and his poor play was simply a result of his OL or lack of weapons last year…

Cant make this stuff up. Somehow it seems like that logic only applies to toolsy highly drafted QBs but a QB like Purdy only plays well cuz of scheme and supporting cast.

Teams arrow has been pointing down, but Brock still top 10 last year for pff and top 7 in qbr. The fact that you had any optimism for Trey, but now try to hammer away at guy that can actually play shows how lost you are

Those off and qbr stats mean nothing now pull up his interceptions. He's hasn't been good in over a year and he's injury prone. But keep being delusional and act like this is 2023 Brock before the Ravens game that year

What's delusional is any fan like you acting like Purdy has been playing poorly since the Ravens game. Blindly ignoring the run he had in the playoffs that year. We don't make the SB without his play.

And you pull up his interceptions. What about them? Or we reading box scores again here?
Purdy lost one game this year..cause he was put back in too quickly. And then ppl wanna trip out about a Ravens game forever ago that they obviously did not watch lol

Correct and only one of them he was healthy for...and technically for two quarters in that game.

It's weird to me that Purdy a 7th round pick gets held to a vastly higher standard than other QBs.

I'm not the one that ranked him top 10. The outlets that ranked him know about the interceptions and he ranked top 10 lol

Forget about the Ravens game - are we just going to disregard all of last season? Anyway who gives a f**king s**t. If he comes back and balls out then we'll be in good shape. Is he coming back though lulz.

He's being held to the expected standard of a $265 million dollar QB.

He was being held to a higher standard than other QBs last season. But you know that.
What's this that his workout didn't go well late last week?

Even the fans here who bash "haters" or what ever, what are yall really expecting from this? When do yall expect him back?

So expected to perform slightly better than darnold or geno. That's basically what he's getting paid...

He's getting paid less than both of those guys this season and as SWH pointed out, he was getting that treatment last year and his whole career actually.

I've never seen that happen like that. It's like people simply couldn't wrap their head around this small kid without a huge arm being able to play good football unless it's due to his Avengers or the Shanahan scheme.

Meanwhile guys like CJ Stroud were being coddled like they were newborns. Look at their numbers from last year...

Stroud's performance was praised for battling through a tough OL situation and having his playmakers be injured and still making it to the playoffs.

Tell me what Stroud did so much better than Brock last year? And Stroud had his skill players a lot more frequently out there with him than Brock did.

Stroud is a top 5 pick though so he's allowed to play poorly and people will bring up his pass pro and his skill positions having issues. Brock? Gotta be he's just mid.

Oh God... I hate when yall try to bring down/discredit other QBs when it's not necessary.

Although both QBs threw 12 Ints last year...

Stroud had two of 12 ints last year in the 4th QTR.
Brock threw 6...SIX!.... in the 4th QTR.

Why do you think some started to lose faith, or expected a turnover when we had to come back?

Again Brock tried to do too much last year, because of the missing pieces and the struggling offense.. I was hoping he would change that this year.

Another stat.. when trailing (losing) in games, Stroud threw 7TDs and 4ints. Where as Brock threw 6tds and 7ints.
