The report was odd but if Burrow isn't shut down for the season then there's no reason Brock should be either...unless our team doctors absolutely botched this injury.

One thing is for sure...he never should've played in that Jags game. Hindsight and all that but they should've just rolled out Martinez if Mac really was more injured at the time than Brock.

Difference is Burrow had surgery Brock didn't.

Would not shock me if Brock missed the rest of the year. The seriousness of CMC's injury last year was kept hush hush until the start of the season this may be the same deal.

This would be my guess also at this point

They put CMC on IR soon as the injury was announced. The fact that they haven't put Brock on IR means they really don't know…which makes it even that much weirder. Could've used the roster spot.

Turf Toe ended the careers of Patrick Willis and Deion Sanders no? Hell Deion had to get two toes amputated years later because of after effects of the injury.

Brock needs to think of his long term future... be it with us or somewhere else.

Edit - Basically he should not rush himself back being worried about Mac taking his job. Even if Mac does some crazy Tom Brady s**t and forces a decision down the road, it would still be beneficial for Brock long term to handle the recovery from this injury the best way possible.

Patrick had other issues with his feet that complicated things. Deion had toes amputated due to emboli not turf toe.

Somewhere else? His future is here.
