I am just glad that when the reports came out that we believed Brady was better than Jimmy but they felt the window would be too short with 43 year old Brady.

That's what we call hindsight folks.

Having said that Lombardi has turned into an incredibly pompous jerk who constantly talks down to people. He's the other side of Grant Cohn imo. Which is a shame cuz he used to be a really good media guy.

But one thing he's consistently supported are analytics which Brock tends to be on the higher side off so it's an easy love affair for him there since the franchise QB for the team he clearly stans for is also showing up well on the analytical breakdowns he believes in.

Yesterday you post this..

Then today you partake in a conversation about Jimmy in Brock's thread. And not one warning to anyone else to take Jimmy talks to the Rams thread.

From my perspective that's not fair to TD

Thanks Krizay. Good catch.

Looking forward to the explaination.
I love Brock. Dude saved this entire org after the Lance miss.

He is more mobile and twitchy than Mac.

But Mac looks just a little more accurate and I actually trust Mac more in a 2 minute drill than Brock.

What a blessing to have 2 good QBs on the roster.

He's definitely more accurate, at this moment. From the endzone views of the Jags game, Brock was starting his throwing motion at the shoulders, not the legs/hips to keep from putting too much weight on that right foot where the ligament is. When the shoulders start before the hips, the arm slot changes a little lower and the ball comes out angled higher so passes can sail.

It is. I feels like Mac has the stronger arm. I always thought Purdy had the mobility, processing and accuracy but that has wand since 2023.

agree 1000% with this. I also think Jones has a stronger arm. I always thought the noodle arm label was crazy. He doesn't have a rocket but I honest thought hie arm strength was on par with Trey's.

Agree. Looking forward to Brock getting healthy. was definitely affecting him.

By the way I watched Adrian Martinez UFL highlights last night. Not bad. although they definitely do not have the same pass rush in UFL

agree 1000% with this. I also think Jones has a stronger arm. I always thought the noodle arm label was crazy. He doesn't have a rocket but I honest thought hie arm strength was on par with Trey's.

There's probably 60 QBs in the league with a stronger arm than Purdy. That's not really his game. I'm not sure either guy is in the top 25 in terms of arm strength/velocity. Both can make up for it in other ways (as long as the weather is cooperative.)

Stafford is a crippled old man with a worn down arm. He's probably not in the top 10 in terms of arm talent/strength/velocity anymore, but he looked miles better than either Jones or Purdy on Thursday.

I would suggest, at times, Purdy thinks its his game.

I've asked this question before and as usual I'm sure it will be ignored.

When was the last time Purdy's arm strength cost us? Not his accuracy, not his decision making but his arm strength.

I think Brock understands his arm limitations unlike Jimmy. Brock is aggressive at making down the field throws but I certainly don't recall any throws where his arm was a clear issue whether a deep throw that he simply under threw or a throw he tried to make to a spot where the juice just wasn't there and it got picked off.

I do think Mac's arm is slightly stronger than Brocks but it's not a glaring advantage either. Brock's issues are not related to his arm because he understands what his arm is and isn't.

Insufferable.

Some people can't see past the tip of their nose. Brock is still a young QB and reps are very important. No need to needlessly feed a stupid controversy.
