From the view I've seen the only way that can be completed it would have required CMC to fully extend and get it. It's not like he can throw it to his numbers and he's running in stride. You got an all-22 of it?

Easily a touchdown. It wasnt even that "layered" of a throw between 3 players as you claimed it was. He just needed to get it over the initial pass rusher.

They should just put him on IR and shut him down for the season so that he can heal from this injury. Asking him to go out there and play effectively while he's in unimaginable levels of pain and unable to throw using his normal mechanics is going to mess him up for the longterm and not likely to result in good QBing.

If the injury was that bad I'm sure they would but he was able to play.

I hate to say this because I think Brock is a pretty good QB but the excuses are starting to sound like what we heard when JG started having problems.

Brock has played at an MVP level before, and Jimmy was getting the excuses from the jump. Grand Canyon sized difference.

I'm not comparing their abilities. but JG had a good year in 2019. The Niners awarded him with a big contract. Sound familiar. After that he started struggling and the excuses began. Injury prone. Weak arm. Poor decision making.

Brock had one big year and lead the Niners to the SB. Last season there were a lot of injuries on offense and people started with the excuses. Many were justified but so many QBs face similar issues that it's silly to make excuses. It's part of the game. Injured O lineman. Injured recivers. It's common all around the league. Last night we saw Tyreek Hill go down with what looked like a serious injury. Are thye going to use that as an excuse the rest of the year?

See I disagree, that's a hard throw to make in the middle of the field and hands all over the place. I hate the attempt on 1st down with an easy outlet to Juice that's gonna get you 5 or more if he breakers one tackle.

Dude....you are ridiculous today. Every one of your posts is flat out wrong. That's a touchdown if he catches it. Kyle agrees.

I'll disagree. He's gotta reach up and grab that and run in stride? AND it doesn't matter because it was a poorly thrown ball regardless.

Lol, Bro….stop.

Facts ^

Good read, just a bad throw.
I'm sure Christian would have been tackled from behind as there a defender in front of him.

Asking for proof, getting the proof, and still doubling down. Its ok to admit you were wrong.

Oh....and LOL at "hands all over the place":

To be fair they paid Jimmy after 5 games. Brock is for sure a better QB.

I don't hate Brock or think he stinks. He can win a bunch of games for us. He's gotta get back to what he did in 2023, just run the offense make smart fast decisions, use your legs and when needed extend the play.

Like last yr, he was pushing stuff and trying to do too much. Understand the down and distance, realize a positive play on 1st down isn't a bad play.

He gets hit right after he lands in the video.

They're saying it was a bad throw but the right read. I'm saying if his foot is the reason he was so inaccurate (meh on that one) then take the easy play on 1st down. Stop turning the ball over, get positive plays and take advantage when the play is right.

It might be who he is. He's been making chunks of bad throws off and on since that Baltimore game then went on to have a solid but average playoffs and superbowl. Continued on to last season and now this season.

I asked for a different view and it didn't change my opinion. Sorry if that makes you upset.

Dude was in his face when he actually let it go.

he can't throw the ball much lower to CMC, he's still gonna have to fully extend to get it and you're just not running in stride like that.

and after you disagree with my take, you're saying it was just a poorly thrown ball, which doesn't make anything better.

He's just gotta play better, that's all. I like him and I'm fine with him as the guy. He's gotten paid and that's who we've all committed to.

I feel like his mechanics haven't been as sharp the past yr or so. 34 TOs in 1,140 passing attempts doesn't sound good imo. Dude is a gunslinger and you can live with that as long as he makes up for it with TDs and those late game drives to win.

I don't think realistic fans are asking him to turn into superman and carry a gutted skill position group to wins while putting up MVP level production. He's not that kind of player… there are only a couple in the league… and the team around him isn't very strong, especially with injuries.

What should be expected, at the very least, is he does the baseline minimum his job requires and that is protecting the ball. Do not give away multiple possessions game after game.

He certainly needs to play better. Whether that turns into a bunch of wins and great production is not simply on him. But he is expected to do his job well.

The defender in front of him was sprinting the opposite direction LOL
I love how aggressive Brock is always looking down the field. But during this game if he went to his wide open check downs on a few of those plays (2 ended in turnovers) we continue those drives and who knows, we probably win.

Brock needs some patience sometimes, and take the guaranteed short pass instead of the tough double covered shot. Even if he mixed it up a bit we could extend some of these drives. The opposing DC must know his tendency is to go deeper, and they're shading coverages I think.

Messed up back and one of the worst OLs in football….I don't hear about excuses for him
They certainly are not in the top-10 but they aren't one of the worst.

According to PFF rankings:

Tackles: #21 and #50 (Havenstein has been battling injuries, according to reports) out of 75

Guards: #13 and 45 out of 77

Center: #18 out of 34

I would say they that puts them average or slightly above.
