lol relax, I didn't say he didn't play well. I just said he's clearly hurting. He def played poorly. Literally the entire team did. There isn't a phase of the game that we can say played well. It was a s**t show across the board.
jags had way more energy and way more physical.
the only positive we can take from that game is that we played god awful and still had a chance to win it.
outside of that, everyone should be disappointed with every single players performance. Even Kyle's play calling. All we do is run or pass to CMC, it's super predictable and stalls drives.
o line has sucked a lot this year, idc what the stats say. Just watching them will show you that they're not doing well.
this team has to play better cause we are only 3 plays away from being 0-4. Which I guess can be said about a lot of teams but there hasn't been a single week where we've looked "good". It's been ugly football that we've pulled out with in the end. We need to put together 4 quarters of good ball and it doesn't help we have an insane amount of injuries that just keep coming
Even with the rest of the team underperforming, they win that game if not for the 3 TOs imo. He's the dude making $250M and needs to lead the pack, not depend on everything else to go right around him to win games all the time. That's all I'm saying.
FWIW the OL was graded as one of the best PBLK teams through the first couple weeks (based off PFF and ESPN). I don't think they're amazing at all, but the narrative that it's all them regarding the passing game is silly. I'm more worried about the run blocking.
Back to Brock, we all think he's a quality guy and you can stomach the TOs when he's tossing a bunch of TDs on top of it, but outside of one yr that hasn't really been the norm. How confident do we feel that he's gonna lead this team down the field and score a game winning TD at this pt? Feel like he's getting plenty of opportunities to instill confidence in the fans and overall I'd say it hasn't been great.
he's gotta get back to the basic, take the plays in front of him (look at McCorkle), actually use his damn legs on those 3rd down plays (because he's not McCorkle there). Be smart and understand what you can and can't do well.
