Lol, no way. Not only was it a bad pass, it was a bad decision to even attempt it.

Yea as brutal as it sounds can't make any excuses for the guy. He throws at least one REALLY bad interception a game now and it's approaching two per game on average. If his toe is affecting everything from him sailing balls to making bad decisions then it's his and Shanahan's fault.

He's paid $53 mil per year and I so want to mention Pearsall getting hurt, Jennings in and out of the lineup, bad fumbles and drops, but he must rise above that and actually had a chance. I'm just not seeing a clutch rise above it all type player. But the market demanded we do what we did and now we're stuck with him. I'm just praying for the best

I don't really think recognizing the aggravating factors is the same as making excuses. He's made way too many bad plays and must show improvement, but it's also the case that other factors contribute, especially in close losses.

If his level of play continues, then the team will have to move on from a costly mistake at some point. Definitely not a decision the team should make right away; the question is when to take action. We're not in a Super Bowl window in my opinion.

Lynch doesn't negotiate contracts, lol. That's the unaccountable Paraag Marathe.

Theres an out clause after next year, which will only give this guy a total of 50 million for the first two years.. At this rate I'm assuming we'll be using that

Neither interception was really on him today. The fumble was worse.

Most of his passes were high. Even got Jennings killed by a high throw.

The Jennings throw was on a broken two-point conversion attempt that the team had to have. I can't really find much fault with that desperation throw to convert.
Brock played absolutely awful today. Hopefully he bounces back against the Rams or else the 49ers are going to have to rethink him as a starter and maybe go back to a backup again.

Unfortunately he is heading in that direction.

He's paid. He's not on a 5 game leash guys. Not even close to realistic to expect him to be replaced anytime soon… even if he plays poorly.

It hit CMC in both hands without him even having to really extend for it and then he basically handed it to the defender. It was a lot like the MHJ play on Thursday night.

CMC fully extended got one hand on it barely.

When the film nerds break it down it will be shown he had an open check down. Just trying to do too much again.
Brock will be fine this Thursday night

Just a bad game first game back. Gotta get back in football shape is all

He won't have Ricky to throw to mostly likely and Jennings may also be out.

I don't understand how Jones was dropping back and getting the ball out. Brock drops back amd holds it. Today he rarely let it go on time for timing plays. Sometimes it looks like he thinks he has all day to throw.
