I have no faith in these awards after a kicker got NFL MVP and Rice never did. No WR in history got MVP but a kicker did . Rice had 23 TDs in a strike year and didn't get MVP. The NFL prior to Brady going insane named Rice the best player in NFL history and he won zero season MVPs. The awards are a joke.

If he goes 5-0 (really 6-0) with the stats he is putting up - then no rookie would have contributed as much as he. I know the sample size is small but he did much more than any other rookie QB. Maybe Wilson wins it but I think in these 5 games, that he has shown more than enough.

i won't actually be upset if he doesn't get it, that would be ridiculous. Lol I just think it would be super cool and add his historical rookie season! Imagine him being the only OROY that was mr irrelevant !

Yeah they went in depth about the least amount of starts a rookie has had and still won RotY. I will say Walker and Wilson haven't exactly ran away with the award but I still think they have a considerable lead over Brock.

I think Purdy would have to have like a four TD game and us end up with the 1 seed for him to have a real chance.

still incredible in 5 games he's become one of the finalist. He would of got it for sure if he played more that's alright - he will get first team all pro next yeah hahahah 😏

I agree. Purdy should be a front runner for OROY. I think Bosa is a clear front runner for DPOY. I would argue that Shanahan deserves COY as well.
