They should not rush him. Have we not learned lessons. Let Mac play one more. If we lose we lose. That is why the two game cushion worked out so well. We need him for Rams and beyond. Put your toe on ice!

I read that he is still in pain. If that is still the case come Sunday they shoudn't start him. No need to risk it getting worse when it's only week 3 and you are 2-0. And when you have a capable backup.

Purdy will be wanting to play though but they shouldn't rush it. We finally got a decent backup qb..after he gets settled in the game..pretty good. Looks better than Lance and wayy cheaper lol

He needs to play if he's anywhere close to healthy. These divisional games are too important.

This. The teams already down yuk, kittle and jennings banged up. You also have no decent backup behind mcaffrey.

People riding some imaginary high thinking because we beat the terrible saints that we can stroll out the backups vs good teams...

We will be lucky to win with purdy let alone putting Mac in there.

Brock is going to play because he is afraid of losing his starting job. Remember he took the same job away from Garappolo when Jimmy got hurt.
