Fans are not uneducated just super emotional.
Lucked into a win in Seattle. Tight End pulled the ball away from the air and from the defender.

Now that he got paid just has to be way better going forward.

Was it lucky? Sure; could've just as easily been an interception. But sometimes you just have to take risks and give your guys a chance. I'd take that all day over the conservative approach.
Lynch just said the injury is more on the "positive" side once they were done evaluating it.

Has he ever said an injury is more on the negative side? Lol
Brock will be back by the Rams game hopefully. We can win the next 3 without him IMO. Hopefully D keeps building from last week and we control the clock again, run the damn ball.

-Need a lot of playmakers to succeed
-Not the strongest arm by any means
-Struggle on deep throws
-Lost a Super Bowl
-Gets injured every season
-You need a really good backup QB because he'll play a lot

If you said Brock you are right.........if you say Jimmy you are right too.

History is repeating itself

I don't even know where to start with this take...

Season over. Yet again, done in by injuries I just don't have energy to watch the games

Season is already over. What a bummer.

Okay I get being pessimistic and all, especially after watching this team blow 7 real shots at a Lombardi in the past 15 years. But let's maybe hold off on this level of reaction. We're 1-0 (and 1-0 in the division) and it's a Thursday before Week 2 in September. The only player on short-term IR is Kittle. It is WAAAAY too early to declare this season over already.

Now if Purdy is confirmed out for the season or if this were all happening in early January, THEN you can declare the season over. But for right now it's just another Thursday to be a 49ers fan lol

+ BA and Mustafa coming back this year. Could = a late season surge into the playoffs.

Possibly but they have to win the winnable games like this Sunday to stay within striking distance.

Winnable games like this Sunday? Without Purdy and Kittle (and possibly Puni), and with a poor O-line, the next 2 games are definitely losable. Hell, the next 5 are losable if Purdy is out the next 5 games. Without Purdy and Kittle, and only 1 respectable WR, I don't see this team winning more than 2 of the next 5 games. And judging by how things have started with injuries can you really expect for this team to stay healthy until Brock and Kittle returns, especially given the usage rate of CMC (who's likely NOT going to play a full season)?

I'm sorry, this season is done. I'd love to be wrong on this, but I'm just too scarred to be hopeful anymore. I'm all tapped out on hope and optimism. When Trent and Warner went into the blue tent, but came back, my optimism levels went to under a half of a tank. When we learned that Kittle will miss multiple weeks my optimism went to under a quarter of a tank. Learning that Brock is out 2-5 weeks to me to bone dry empty tank. The team will have to spend so much emotional energy just overcoming injuries just to stay in it, even with an "easy" schedule (which now isn't so easy), that I just don't think they'll have much left to make any kind of a PO push, assuming we have enough emotional energy to get to the PO.

So lucky with George Kittle and Jauan Jennings on the sidelines, CMC stepping out of bounds and making himself ineligible. Moody already missing 2 kicks earlier in the game and apparently playing with a bad toe.

Dang Purdy just needs to be better

While I hope to be wrong about Mac Jones, I believe some of you will understand the difference soon unless it turns out that Seattle's defense really is that good this year.

I can never trust these guys on injuries. I feel like they're always downplaying injuries but guys miss more time than they claimed.

Still remember them making it seem like Arik Armstead will be back in a couple of weeks and dude missed a good chunk of the year and wasn't even fully healthy for the playoffs when he came back.

Although I desperately hope Brock is back sooner rather than later.

By that time happens we will have 1 win.

Huh??? We almost double their yards, their first downs. Time of possession was unbelievably favored, missed two field goals, had the best player arguably on our team injured along with others. If anything, Seattle got super lucky they didn't get blown out by at least 17 points. I don't know what logic are using, but it's hilarious.

Every catch the ball is pulled away from the air
