So sick of this s**t with this team…

lol he's missed like 1 career start due to injury. 🙄

He missed 2 last year but I wouldn't say he injury prone. The shoulder injury that required surgery was done in the off season so he was able to come back for the start of the next year. Turf toe is someting that some players get but it hads nothing to do with being fragile or injury prone.

This year starting out with optimism based on a weak schedule and Saleh, CMC coming back and the drafting of some new defensive help. Thern the injuries started again. Jennings was going to be a big factor and he's hurting. The Kittle goesa on the IR. Now Purdy.

Nothing is easy in the NFL. Nothing is ever certain.

He went down early in one of the most important games of his career.

This is not good news for the season. 49ers are cursed, thanks Kaepernick.

Blaming that Eagles playoff injury on Purdy is one of the derpiest takes of all time. TE missed a block and Reddick crashed into Purdy's arm as he was throwing. Has ZERO to do with being injury prone. I swear, 49ers fans are one of the most uneducated fanbases in football..

He didn't blame Brock, he said he's injury prone, which he is.

Season over. Yet again, done in by injuries I just don't have energy to watch the games

If the Defense is as good as we saw Sunday at Seattle with Shanahan coaching the offense, they can be at least average before Purdy comes back.
Besides who knows, maybe this team will be lucky and Purdy will be back in two weeks.
Now it's really exhausting to have injury problems every f**king season. It has been just one game and the team already lost the starting QB and TE.

This is the most annoying part of this.

We all just witnessed a really stressful win on Sunday. The least we deserve is a restful week until next Sunday, but we gotta deal with this in-week "is everyone okay? How not okay is everyone??" drama on top if it all and I swear other teams don't have to deal with this to the same degree.

Season is already over. What a bummer.

Okay I get being pessimistic and all, especially after watching this team blow 7 real shots at a Lombardi in the past 15 years. But let's maybe hold off on this level of reaction. We're 1-0 (and 1-0 in the division) and it's a Thursday before Week 2 in September. The only player on short-term IR is Kittle. It is WAAAAY too early to declare this season over already.

Now if Purdy is confirmed out for the season or if this were all happening in early January, THEN you can declare the season over. But for right now it's just another Thursday to be a 49ers fan lol
Injury prone refers to someone tha tis susceptable to injury because of genetics, bio mechanics type training or some other facxtor that makes it easier for him to get hurt. It doesn't mean someone that just gets hurt often.. Injuries can happen to anyone at any time and since they're random it can be to the same person. Luck is a factor and so isthe number of times you're directly involved in the play. To say Purdy is injury prone is silly. His mechanics are fine. As far as I know he trains well. His size is okay. Maybe he's not tall but he's put together well.

+ BA and Mustafa coming back this year. Could = a late season surge into the playoffs.

By that time happens we will have 1 win.

Possibly but they have to win the winnable games like this Sunday to stay within striking distance.
An article out there says up to five weeks (not that he is-but could be) and this is a level of turf toe. I thought it was not turf toe but a bad strain?

This was so predictable, every player we pay goes straight to I.R.

It's like its a part of the process.

I didn't blame anyone, simply pointed out the injury. You are example #1 of an uneducated fan.

Maybe the salaries should be donated to the local hospitals instead of being paid to the player.
When going through the schedule I predicted a 2-2/ 3- 3 start before finishing at 10- 7. I don't see why we still can't start 3 - 3 even without Brock.
